Caravan tachometer in custom car with 318 Dodge V8? by 46HudsonPU
Know it has been a while since you posted this. Have you gotten your 41 Hudson Pickup built? Am getting ready to do a similiar build on my 46 Hudson Pickup. Would be interested in pictures, observations, problems encountered (and resolutions), etc... Regards - Rick C.

'97 Cirrus charging system question by Moe Noodleman
I just had to re-charge the battery on my '97 Cirrus (6-cyl size 75 battery). My question is if the car's charging system will charge the battery while idling or does the car have to be running at cruising rpms for the alternator to kick in. Thanks. Moe Noodleman

Mexican Dodge Dakota SUV by TOM KAN PA
Read in this newsgroup about a Dakota SUV, made in Mexico and sold only in Mexico, not available in the states. An intensive Google search for a picture of this vehicle produced only one site. http://tinyurl.com/5uf9b

Transmission Fluid Stick Readingn - 2000 Concorde LXi by John Gregory
The dipstick showed the fluid level (hot) was a tad below the top two holes. Can someone tell me the fluid capacity it takes between these two; a cup, pint, quart? I don't want to overfill and I don't want add too little at a time.

Genuine Shop Manuals Standard Equipment on All Cars by Ted
I'm with you on this one. Unfortunately neither Reps nor Dems will be.....it's ironic that most aircraft service documentation is in the public domain whereas most auto docs are not.

They changed Google Groups - awful by Bill Putney
Anybody figured out a good quick way to find a particular ng other than go to Advanced Search and enter the name? I liked the old drill-down system better. Bill Putney (To reply by e-mail, replace the last letter of the alphabet in my adddress with the letter 'x')

l O3 Grand Caravan Tranni questions by Stefan
Not on a regular basis. My wife does take the van from time to time but I drive it 95% of the time. Even so, she doesn't drive that differently from me, at least in my opinion not enough to cause a vehicle to have such problems. I don't think I am being excessively worried about the tranni,...

2002 Caravan Ball Joints by Ken Kociolek
I was trying to shoot grease into the lower ball joints today and the grease wasn't going in. I unscrewed the grease fitting and found out that it didn't have a hole in it. In fact, it really didn't look like a normal fitting. Are these ball joints maintenance free or do I have to go out and buy...

Oil pressure warning light on '95 Voyager w/ 3.0L by Jeff Wieland
We're 200 miles from home tonight with an erratic low oil pressure light on our '95 Voyager, 3.0L, with 110,000 miles. The repair manual and virtually all of my tools are 200 miles away :-(. The light goes on and out. I do not hear any clattering or ticking like I'd expect to hear if the oil...

92 Dakota Timing not right by [email protected]
It appears the timing on the 92 Dakota (3.9 L) is set by the ECM. My timing seems to be off. My timing light shows it set at TDC while idling. If I rev up engine (while in park) it backfires thru throttle body. The timing chain is new. The truck seems to run ok but burns a lot of gas. ...

1996 Voyager - No Power/Backfiring/Fault Code 43 by Christian M. Mericle
Hi all, I have a 1996 Plymouth Voyager 2.4L, 4 cylinder with 176,000 miles. During a trip, it began to lose power when put under load (e.g. accelerating from a stop, climbing). My initial thought was the fuel filter so I had that replaced. (The fuel system did have very low pressure before the...

Question on Wheels For '93 Caravan by Ron
I want to buy some used steel rims ( wheels ) for my 1993 Dodge Caravan LE to have new snow tires installed. There are 5 bolt holes in my old rims and I assume they are 15" as the tires are 205 - 70R.15. When I go to an auto wrecker, must I use just rims from a 1993 or are other years going to fit...

03 Grand Caravan Tranni questions by Stefan
Hello Everyone, I've been battling a small tranni issue with my 03 Grand Caravan ever since I bought it. I've already had the tranny fluid changed out of it since purchased and had a TSB (or so my dealer says it was a TSB) done concerning a 2nd to 1st downshift knock. However, when going from...
