Vibration at low speeds? by Toller
I am looking at a 99 Explorer. At low speeds there is a vibration and a bit of a rumbling noise. It goes away at higher speeds. The owner says it is due to one brand new (drivers side front) tire with an aggressive tread. (the other three tires are worn, but okay) He says the mechanic he just...

Zoom Fuel system cleaner by Charlie Bress
I was into Sears this morning having a tire repaired using the road hazard guarantee. They are pushing a product called Zoom. It claims to clean, injectors, valves etc. It has to be "professionally" administered. Has any one tried it? I am leery about the claims made by these liquid fixes. At $80...

99 XLT replacing wheel stud advice by Mikepier
I stripped a wheel stud on the rear wheel while changing a flat. I purchased a new stud and bolt at the auto parts store and will try to change the stud tomorrow. The truck has rear disc brakes. Is it simply banging out the old stud and putting the new one in ? Any advice appreciated. Thanks

This is the part number of a 4 liter explorer engine. Which one? I have the chance to buy it new. My explorer is a 1997 SOHC model. Is this the correct engine for my Explorer? I am UK based so you will probably realise that Ford backup and info is almost non existant over here. thanks

Squeak at low speed- 2000EB by Bill
A squeak is driving me nuts. It is most noticeable when driving in a area where the noise is reflected back, like a parking garage or area with a wall next to the road. The noise appears to be related to the wheels turning (stops when the truck stops); however, it does not appear to be...

Flex-Fuel Egnines by Big Shoe
