Why is oil pressure lower when level is low by
[email protected]
Assuming that:
- the oil pump moves a fixed volume of oil per rotation;
- the oil level never drops so low that the pickup is even partially

Nadeem
I have a feeling there is an exhaust leak putting fumes inside the cabin of
my '94 Chevy S10. It does seem to have a noticeable smell, although not
like antifreeze.
Isn't there something I could pore into the engine while it is running which
would produce smoke at any leak location, like the...

88 Nissan Sentra Heater issue by
David
Hello, I have a 1988 Nissan Sentra that I bought about 4 months ago.
It has A/C and during the summer, it was great....nice and cool. Now
that it's winter, it's a whole different story. The heater blows air
but with no heat what-so-ever. Basically, it's the same as the fan just
turned on with-out...

any of the drive gears unless you're going over a certain speed. It
makes a thrumming sound and you can feel it chug, sometimes enough to
make it stall. It does not do this in neutral for some reason.
I've checked for air...

considering to buy. The problem is, while idle, (like at the redlights
or stopsigns) it shakes, but as soon as you press the gas pedal,
shaking disappears. What do you think might be wrong? and how much it

I'm just hoping to get possible ideas. My car won't start but ONLY
when it's below freezing. It's been towed in to the dealer twice. The
first time they said the engine fuse was blown. I expressed my concern

cost about $5,000 to repair it. It will run, but just barely. Have I
ruined the engine? I've searched the forums, but I'm just not coming
up with...
