'91 Civic Si radiator upper tank split by
Paul Banchero
The upper tank on my '91 Civic Si radiator has a split 1" - 2" long
immediately above one of the two brackets that support the air intake
horn - the one closest to the battery. (And, no - I haven't leaned
on the air horn in the past, though that kind of pressure is what
causes the split to...

G. Huang
The auto transmission on my 87 Integra tend to stuck in 1st gear when
cold. I have to manually shift it to 2nd, wait for the speed to build up
and then move to the 3rd or 4th. Once it starts shifting it will act
normal. When it started doing this about three yeas ago, changing ATF
seemed to resolve...

Not sure if my 97 Civic Clutch is bad by
cneglia
I was givin a 97 Honda Civic. The only problem is its hard to get into
and out of gear, almost like the linkage is bent or it's real cold out.
It also runs great but when I hit second gear the clutch seems to slip.
Do both these symptoms sounds like they are clutch related? Is it worth
it to...

94 Civic: boot the clutch slave cylinder goes into?? by
Abeness
There's an additional rubber boot that covers the boot end of the slave
cylinder and attaches into the tranny housing. Since that isn't
particularly supple any longer I'd like to replace it while I'm
replacing the slave cylinder. I'm pretty sure it's the "release fork
boot" marked item #7 in the MT...

Rear wiper refill for Civic Hatchback by
Abner
Does anyone know where you can get a rear wiper refill for a Civic Hatchback.
I don't have the little metal strip that you need to use with a OEM Honda
refill (who's bonehead idea was THAT?). Before I've always been able to
find one that just slid right in. All that seems to be available now...

Civic Timing Belt Saga - Continued by
disallow
Hi there,
So here I am, back again. Hat in hand, looking for ideas,
or at least some reassurance that I didn't totally f&*(ck
up my poor little 98 civic LX (D16Y7).
Since the timing belt job, I have gone thru 1 tank of
fuel. I filled up on Friday, and have driven 100kms and
gone thru almost 1/4...

Plugged Egr Valves Why? by
Tjacobs
100K miles dealer said my egr valves were plugged. Said it was caused
by bad gas. He said it was common to some models of Honda. My
questions a 1. My oil consumption has increased by double in the
last 10k miles. 2. I have noticed an octane knock on acceleration.
That started about 10K miles...

Touching up body paint by
Google Beta User
Anyone done it by yourself?
I have a few rust spots near the wheels, plus the roof is getting
really light on paint. The paint doesn't have a clearcoat or anything,
is it something that I could do myself if I get the necessary equipment
from Autozone?
Also, is it ok to do the job in winter...

Quick poll, Would your next car be a honda? by
stylesandsmiles
I am just curious if you people out there that have a honda, would consider
buying your next car in the future. If so, would you consider, standard or
auto, and civic, or accord?
For those of you whom would. Did you buy your's new or used?

Paint repair question by
Milleron
I've passed countless truck-tire treads along the road over the years,
but I've never touched one. Then, in the last five days, I've run
over them TWICE. The last one looked as big as a Shetland pony as it
shot out from under a truck I was passing and right into my front
bumper.
The only damage I...

Just some misc. info that would've helped me out I'd like to share
regarding the replacement of my left side half shaft on my 1997 Honda

grease, clutch cylinders by
Abeness
I need to replace the clutch master and slave cylinders on my 94 Civic.
Any tips?
Does it really matter whether I get OEM from e.g. Majestic, or
aftermarket from the local store from which I *think* it will be
somewhat less?
I'm assuming that I need to buy the clutch master seal and cotter...
