2003 Town & Country Seats by
[email protected]
I was able to add lumbar support to my driver's seat by removing the
hard plastic seatback panel (2 screws), and inserting a rolled foam
support between the foam of the seat and the vertical wire seat
support. You'll see what you have to do as soon as you remove the
plastic panel. For some...

94 New Yorker Hesitant by
David Kluesner
Was wondering if anyone would have any ideas on a 94 Chrysler New Yorker,
3.5 V-6.
Around the speeds of 35 to 65, when I accelerate it spits and sputters and
sometimes backfires
a little, sometimes it idles a little rough, but not always, tested the fuel
pressure it is 40psi,
put in new plugs...

Dodge Neon and Chrysler Cirrus by
DodgeDriver
Looking for a car for my granddaughter. Are there particular model years to
stay away from if we get interested in a Neon or Cirrus?
Thanks for your help.

Did we get screwed again? by
N9NEO
My wife brought her 99 voyager in to mechanic and he told her it
needed new swaybar links. I stopped by and told him he did them in
December of 05. 16mos ago. He said one was bent and the other one
was gone.
My wife stoped by to pick up the car and it wasn't ready. The kid
told her he could do...

3.8 Liter longevity by
Doug
A friend of mine recently bought a 1996 Chrysler Town and Country with
the 3.8L engine.
The van has around 200,000 miles on it - really up there.
Maintenance looks to be at least average if not better.
The transmission has recently been rebuilt.
Any guess as to how much engine life remaining?
It...

3.8L and it idles rough when it is in D. Changed the plugs and wires,
helped overall performance, but still rough idle. Thanks

Looking at older vans by
Moses
I'm looking at older dodge conversion vans. One is a high mileage V8
and the other a 1500 with a larger 6 and somewhat lower mileage. Can
you tell me if both engines are reliable past 100,000? Would a full
size van be underpowered with a 6? I'm looking for a recreation vehicle
that could...

300M 3.5 serpentine belt replacement by
Steven Stone
I'd like to replace the serpentine belt on my 2000 300M.
Any special tools required ?
Kind of tight in there between the radiator and the front of the
engine.
How do you release the tensioner ?
All I can see from the top are mounting bolts.

Tires and Wheels by
NJ Vike
Greetings all. Besides having a 300M, I also purchased a 2007 TL and
even thoug it's a different car, I'm sure some of you can still
assist.
I have a 2007 Acura TL Type S and want to replace those stock wheels
with something a little nicer. Perhaps in chrome. So far, it has been
hell trying to...

My '89 Chrysler New Yorker looses power in hot weather by

Hi group,
I was hoping someone could me help me with this problem.
I drive a 1989 Chrysler New Yorker that's in really, really good
condition physical and mechnical condition for a car this old. I'm
only the 3rd owner. The first owners were proverbial Sunday drivers,

2002 Grand Caravan Trans temp gauge by
Steph[_1_]
Any ideas how easy it is to add a temperature gauge on the A pillar for the
transmission temp? I am told that is the best indicator to watch when
towing (in or out of OD).
I have the tan interior and hopefully can match that pretty well; do any of
the trucks of that year have the same A-pillar...

Jackstand placement on 1993 Grand Voyager by

I need to replace the front brake pads on this vehicle.
I would like to know where is the best and safest place to position
the jack stands. There is a place on the *frame rail* behind where the
lower control arm is attached. Moving a little further back, some
sheet metal comes down vertically,...

Retrofit FluidDrive to conventional 3 speed? by
No Name
This is for the experts, can you put a FluidDrive transmission on a
1940 Chrysler that has the 3 speed overdrive? I am not talking about
the Vacamatic/Prestomatic, but simply the fluid unit that is in front
of the clutch.
