is it ok to interchange synthetic oils (mobil-1, penzoil platinum) by [email protected]
I know its bad practice to mix synthetic with conventional oil. However, is it ok to interchange different brands of synthetic? For example, one oil change I may want to use Mobil-1, the next Penzoil platinum. Especially when I am on the road often and may be able to find only one, not another at...

Downside of EFI/ECU/Electronic ignition by Don Stauffer in Minnesota
Car had dead battery and badly corroded battery cable. We tried to push start it but the failure to start was expected (battery was at ten volts). That was one good thing about a Kettering ignition. With a stick shift car, especially a light one like my Neon, you could easily start them by a...

What's the best fix for leaking auto-tranny pan by [email protected]

1969 chevrolet c10 pickup with 4 speed clutch problems. by [email protected]
I was wondering if someone here would know what is wrong with the clutch, or if any adjustments are needed. The problem I have is that the clutch only comes up almost half way back from the floor. It doesn't come all the way up, unless you put your foot behind the pedal, and pull it back up. The...

Decal Removal by Piperson[_2_]
I recently bought a new Buick which I like a lot, but that is another story. However, on nearly very new car, the sun visors are adorned with some ugly warning labels about air bags and child seating. To make them even uglier, the contents is repeated in Spanish. So the question is what is...

OK, ladies and gentlemen, put on your Thinking Caps... by Hachiroku $B%O%A%m%/(B
And come up with a Cheap-Ass alarm. On the Mazda, I don't want to go to the trouble or expense of installing a real alarm, but I want something. Honking the horn and flashing the flashers would be good enough. I want the horn to 'beep', so a flasher unit and a relay or two would be good. There's...
