Hi All, I have a 99 Civic Special Edition (which is basically a base model with A/C), and my engine just got blown. I'm looking for a replacement engine, but since I'm paying money to replace an engine, might as well pay a little extra and get a more powerful engine! However, I know that putting...

Timing Belt / interference engine ( 98 Accord) by [email protected]
Hi; I'm new to this group. I would like advice/opinions on a 1998 Honda Accord. I just bought this car used with 128,000 miles. It was through a dealer so there is no way I can get service records. How difficult is it to change the timing belt on the 2.3L I-4 ? I had a 1984 Accord quite some time...

89 civic by loewent
Well the legacy is over, my 98 civic has met its fate on the back end of a 93 ranger. I was the only one in the car, and walked away with no injuries. 10500 in damage, it is beyond repair. So I need a car, don't want to spend the whole insurance settlement on a car. Yesterday I picked up an 89...

My 1997 Honda Civic DX started for two or three seconds then died. The engine turns over fine but will not start or even fire. When I disconnect the fuel line at the manifold to check for pressure and flow, the engine starts. It runs until the fuel in the injection manifold is gone. When the fuel...

Just want to learn from your experiences or advice if you own a 2008 or newer CR-V. I have a 2010 CR-V LX with no roof rack. How do you secure a protruding ladder, lumber or such from inside your vehicle? I know the back door shuts down so how do you protect it's bottom from slamming on...

I own a 97 Accord. I replaced my stock struts at 90K with Monroe Sensatracs. The car has 140K now. I recently replaced my worn Michelin X-one tires with Goodyear Assurance Comfortred which are known for their smooth ride. However after replacing the tires, I noticed that my bumps cause shudders in...
