Replacing micro instrument lights with LEDs? by
Mark G.
Good afternoon.
I need to replace various micro-sized light bulbs in my radio and CD player
(1991 Accord.) The Honda dealer wants about five bucks each for them; these
bulbs are tough to source elsewhere.
It occurs to me that they could perhaps be replaced with LEDs. Has anyone
else here done...

98 Accord Heater Control Unit Light- TeGGer? by
Al
I've got a '98 Accord, that had a problem with the heater control unit lamp.
My honda dealer pulled it out, didn't have a spare, so he put the old one
back in while we ordered parts. The old bulb worked for 1 evening then quit.
When the new bulbs came in, he replaced the old one, and the new bulb...

Can't shift out of park by
dristan24
I own a 98' Accord 4dr automatic. I love the car and have had it for
some time now. Other than the typical "drivers side door lock switch
not working" issue, my only problem is with the shifter. There are
times after I put the car into "Park", I am not able to press the
button on the shifter knob...

Some good sites for Civic owners? by
[email protected]
Hi. I'm looking for web sites that Honda
Civic owners would find useful. (Sites run
by Honda itself wouldn't interest me.)
In particular, I'm interested in locating:
1) customization and enhancement tips
2) discussion boards

Post-timing belt replacement questions by
jbourgeois
I just recently had my timing belt changed, on a 98 Accord with 118k. The
mechanic was not a dealer, but specializes in Hondas. They also replaced
the balance, P/S, and A/C belts. Supposedly they use genuine Honda parts,
but I noticed the P/S belt was clearly made by Mitsubishi.
Anyway, I...

2001 Accord EX seat problem by
Enrique Gonzales
I have a 2001 Accord EX 2-door coupe with leather seats. When you
pull the passenger seat back forward, the seat "unlocks" and moves
forward to allow access to the back seat. At first, the seat would
occasionally fail to "lock" back into position. Now, it is very
difficult to get it to lock at...

Unknown switch assembly. by
afedakendragon
I'm trying to clean out the back room of the shop, so of course it's
e-bay time for all those random parts that are lying around.
I've run across a Honda wiring harness with part number 35700-SE0-A02.
A quick check on www.slhondaparts.com reveals it to be a "Switch
Assembly". But of course,...

05 Accord Hybrid engine light blinks, no code by
Kevin McMurtrie
I have an 05 Accord Hybrid. If I step hard on the gas at highway speeds
when the tank is about 1/5 full, the engine light blinks. Twice it
blinked for about 10 seconds. Once it blinked for about 2 minutes, even
during auto-stop. The light then goes out and the dealership says
there's no stored...

Integra Type R - revs dipping below idle by
davea
Got a problem with my 99 Integra Type R. When driving the car in town,
i.e. stopping and starting a lot I've noticed that if the engine is not
up to running temp the revs tend to drop below the idle speed when the
car is stationary and almost cuts out, battery light flickers and I
need to give it...

1995 honda civic lx by
BCHU2000
I have spoken to a honda rep and no help. I have a starter lock system on my
car. You have to enter a code before the car starts. Somehow, at a local
garage, they disable the code system. The rep told me to hold the * button and
it should reset. But it did not. Any other suggestions? Thanks.

Radiator Cap by
[email protected]
Have a 97 accord with 187K on it - radiator recently started leaking in
the upper seam on the engine side. A local shop replaced the radiator
- took 2 attempts to get one that would hold fluid - but they did not
replace the cap.
Question - do radiator caps as they age ever hold back too...
