The new Value Package model is similar to LX but has eliminated some features. One is the rear stabilizers. The dealer says this shouldn't effect the handling except under racing conditions. Does anyone have any thoughts on removing the rear stabilizers? thanks

My Civic needs a new engine and with 120000 miles, the 3000 doesn't seem worthwhile. Will a dealer take a car in trade that isn't running? Any other options to get a few dollars out of the car. It's a 2000 and the timing belt has already been replaced.
