89 Accord Xmsn dipstick location by Herb
Who was the skinny armed engineer who designed the location for the dipstick? It's almost impossible to get to it without extremely long needle nose pliers, unless you want skinned knuckles.

Engine swap in 92 Honda Civic DX by Kevin in Iowa
I think that my son has blown the engine in his car (haven't looked at it yet, it is 150 miles away). Assuming that the engine is dead, how hard is it to put one of the low milage engines from Japan that are available on EBAY? The ones listed there are the VTEC engine, which his car does not have,...

headlight clip by [email protected]
I have a 2001 Honda Civic and was replacing a headlight bulb yesterday. Ran into a problem of the retaining screw on the clip simply not being there. I'm pretty sure it was never there, because when I removed the rubber seal the clip just sprang right out. I never did see a screw on the floor or...

MIL questions by MAT
Hondarinos: This is a follow up to my P0420 catalyst code. Luckily the Honda dealer confirmed the malfunction and a new cat. has been ordered and covered with the 8/80k emissions warranty. So now my MIL lamp is cycling on and off, in about ~100 mile intervals. Ideally I would drive another car...

88 - 92 Prelude waterpump by James
I'm looking for a project car I can put my own time into but not sink a fortune in parts and make a little money on it. I found a Prelude of this body style for $900, 5 speed, 183K miles. I'm not sure exactly what year it is but let's just say it's a 1990 model. The guy says it needs a new water...

1 Attachment(s) New 2006 Accord VP by beetlejuice
The new Value Package model is similar to LX but has eliminated some features. One is the rear stabilizers. The dealer says this shouldn't effect the handling except under racing conditions. Does anyone have any thoughts on removing the rear stabilizers? thanks

87 Acura Integra driveshaft nut size? And some thoughts on the torqueconverter by Mauricio Tavares
Does anyone know the size of the nut that holds the driveshaft to the wheel in the 87 (ok, 86-89) Acura Integra? I am going to take the tranny out and found out my 30mm socket (used in VWs) is way too tiny... On another note, have any of you ever experiencing the starter gear (as in flexplate...

93 Honda Civic AC Only Works Occasionally HELP! ???? .... by [email protected]
Hello everyone. I recently bought a very nice 1993 Civic DX 4 door. The air conditioning only works when you first start the car and can last up to 10 minutes or so before it stops getting cold. If left on, it sometimes kicks back on. Any idea's on this? I recently had it converted to R134a coolant...

Hi guys! I have a serious question. Some of your remember how I told you how wonderful, and pristine, and reliable, trustworthy, brave, and kind my 1991 Civic DX HB was. Right? Well, sadly, someone rear-ended me today and the estimate came out at $4,022. As wonderful as my car is, it's still a...

Car engine dead by teaka
My Civic needs a new engine and with 120000 miles, the 3000 doesn't seem worthwhile. Will a dealer take a car in trade that isn't running? Any other options to get a few dollars out of the car. It's a 2000 and the timing belt has already been replaced.
