94 civic 1.5L - alt wire melted? by
Rocky
Why would the main wire melt the terminal post on an alternator that is only
in use for a couple hundred miles? Could it be the internal regulator
failed causing the overheating?

wrong coolant temp sensor for 97 accord by
HectorScout
My '97 accord 2dr SE overheated from a blown radiator hose a while
back. It turned on my check engine light and when I checked it it said
there was a problem with my coolant temp sensor. Since then (obvious I
fixed the hose) the car tells me it's running really hot. After a
couple minutes the...

1983 Accord - Coolant vapors inside the distributer (8^( by
roger paxton
I'm getting coolant vapors under the distributer cap.
The inside is coated w/a rust colored film. Where
does this come from and how do I stop it. Is there
an O-ring on the distributer shaft that acts as
a seal?

accord stumbles a bit when accelerating from stop by
ap
Hello,
I've got a 2001 LX Accord with about 36K miles
on it. I have had the usual oil changes
every 3 mos or so and had the air and oil
filters replaced.
I've noticed this for several months now.
When accelerating from a stop (or traffic light),
the car goes forward abruptly. It doesn't
accelerate...

kclandy
I drive a 96 integra and my shocks have resently worn out. I think this
is because the owner before me put adjustable (lowered) coilovers in
the car but didn't change the shocks.
Does anyone know of a good brand of shock (cheap and durable) that
would be good for a lowered car?
ANy advice would...

Integra rear defogger/defroster problem cause by
TeGGeR®
I just encountered a post from a guy who had an odd beeping problem with
his Integra.
Apparently the cause is the ICU having gone bad.
The same cause affects the rear defroster, rendering it inoperable. All
along I thought it was a bad switch, but it's actually the ICU.
There is an intermittent...

Can I drive my 1992 Honda Civic DX??? by

I have the vehicle named above. This morning after driving to work, I
noticed that the engine temperature was much higher than normal, and
there was coolant on the ground. Then I tried the heat in the car, and
only cool air would blow out from the heater. I turned off the car
immediately.

Hello everyone,
This past weekend I was flushing the brake fluid lines in my
sister's 99 Elantra and noticed that both outer boots are cracked
right in the middle and from the looks of things it may have been a
while since this has happened as all of the grease looks to be on the
wheels. I...

The problem started when I tried to unscrew the ATF drain plug. This
