Bailout for the Big Three?? How will it help?? by
Pete E. Kruzer
How is giving (or lending as they say) $27 Billion to the car
companies going to help them sell vehicles??
The Feds can give Chrysler all the money in Fort Knox, I still won't
buy another Chrysler product.

LA 318 cooling prob has me fretting by
OldieChrysler
1986 LA roller cam 318 in an M-body, 85K, mysteriously started sucking
air (or exhaust gas) into the cooling system, causing odd overheating
symptoms. Off came the whole top end, with judicious inspection of
the heads as well as deck and head surface flatness. All looked well,
and the valves were...

'02 300M overheating now by
Percival P. Cassidy[_2_]
As i reported earlier, I completed the overhaul of the a/c, but now I
cannot drive more than a couple of miles before the temp. gauge goes up
into the red.
My first thought was that the thermostat had chosen this moment to quit,
but then I realized that I had overlooked bleeding the cooling...

The Aspen, new and old by
steve
My first car was a '76 Aspen. I noticed that the new Chysler Aspen will
be assembled in Newark, DE, the same plant as many of the original
ones. I know I used to live nearby.
Personally, I think that DCX made a mistake by reviving that name. The
origianl Aspen is to myself and many others a prime...

Chrysler/GM to team up on hybrids by

By 2007, it may be too late. Should have licensed Toyota technology like
Ford to get in the game faster.

Pacifica issues? by
Jimbo[_5_]
I'm looking at an '04Pacifica to replace my '97 Intrepid. Are there any
issues with it? Anyone have one that they can offer an opinion on?
I love my intrepid, but after 10 years, its time. :-)

Hello All! Well I'm frustrated as hell. I've taken my wife's van to the
Cracksler (I call them that, beceause the answers they are giving me
are like they are on crack) dealership at least 3 times for this issue
and all I get is: "yes its a problem that Chrysler knows about and they

My girlfriend's car was acting up today. When she tried to start it,
it would sputter as if it was trying to start. I told her to put the
throtle to the floor when starting it. Car started without incident.
This is the first time this has happen. I believe it was not getting
fuel. What makes it...

I once thought that this was a RESPECTABLE Newsgroup that shared information
and trade secrets about Chrysler and MOPAR cars and parts.
Now it is a virtual slugfest, slinging insults, sending viruses and even
ignoring innocent postings from people asking for real help.
ALL of you people ought to...

Oil pressure warning light on '95 Voyager w/ 3.0L by
Jeff Wieland
We're 200 miles from home tonight with an erratic low oil pressure light
on our '95 Voyager, 3.0L, with 110,000 miles. The repair manual and
virtually all of my tools are 200 miles away :-(. The light goes on and
out. I do not hear any clattering or ticking like I'd expect to hear if
the oil...

1996 Chrysler Concorde by

My mother has just acquired a 1996 Chrysler Concorde (3.5L engine) from another
family member (89000 miles, $3600). She is confident that the car has been
maintained, not abused, and all recalls are up to date. Aside from the air
conditioner being inoperative (I understand this was a common problem...

Stainless steel muffler- maybe not by
Steve L.
I had my muffler changed about 2 or 3 yrs ago at midas or speedy
(can't remember) on a 93 grand caravan. It fell off this weekend. When
I checked it, the muffler itself was like new but the small pipes
leading to and from the muffler were all corroded. I'm wondering if
Midas/Speedy are using...
