Found in barn, complete by
DeserTBoB
Out in the heat in the Fifth Avenue today, I ran by a place out in the
desert that had looked derelict for years, but was now being cleaned
up. The "barn" (loose application of term) doors were open, and there
in the middle of a ton of crap, was a 1955 Dodge Royal Lancer sedan. I
had to pull in to...

96 Town & Country Electrical Problem by
99trooper
Hi all,
About 2 weeks ago, my wife stopped at a store for about 15 minutes and
when she came out the T&C wouldn't start (she said no lights just dead).
I had her open the hood and make sure the cables to the battery were
secure by tugging on them a little (she said they were). She went...

SBlackfoot
My father's '93 Grand Voyager (3.0L, auto, 178k kms) decided not to start
today when he really needs it (it has been converted to a wheelchair van for
my brother long ago, a real lifesaver to say the least). She'll crank over
all day but won't catch. I do hear the fuel pump running for a few...

Help! problem with dealer by
Mark Goodall
My son (22, inexperienced) bought a 99 Taurus from a used car dealer in NW Indiana. When he took the car to the BMV to get plates, they checked the VIN on the car against the title. It was completely different. He went back to the dealer ("Triple M Motors" 9225 Wicker Ave. Saint John, IN 46373, a...

LHS Won’t start in Cold weather and Check engine light on. by
jgcurt
Hi we have a 1996 Chrysler LHS that has its check engine light on. We
took it to a mechanic and had the codes read and were told that their
were multiple misfires. The mechanic replaced the spark plugs, a fuel
injector, fuel filter, and it still didn’t fix the problem. So he told

How do I find a broken wire. by
mm
I have a 100 foot orange extension cord that doesn't work.
Usually when I cut one in half with a hedge trimmer, it's fairly easy
to find the defect. And then I fix it.
Other times I use pins to check continuity near the plug or socket,
where cords usually break.
But this time the problem is...

I once thought that this was a RESPECTABLE Newsgroup that shared information
and trade secrets about Chrysler and MOPAR cars and parts.
Now it is a virtual slugfest, slinging insults, sending viruses and even
ignoring innocent postings from people asking for real help.
ALL of you people ought to...

Infinity speakers foam surrounds failing at record rates... by
Steve Stone[_4_]
Foam speaker surrounds do not last forever, especially for my 2000 3ooM
with 35,000 miles.
In the past month the foam surrounds tore away from the speaker baskets
on both 5 1/2 inch front door speakers.
This is not due to abuse.
They just plain wore out.
Foam surrounds weaken with age.
Until...
