2005 Neon maintenance by
ScratchMonkey
I'm taking care of my mom's used 2005 Neon and I'm trying to figure out why
the dealer wants over $400 for the 24,000 mile maintenance. (It's actually
closer to 18,000 miles on the odometer.) I don't have any documentation
showing what the manufacturer recommends. Is that available online?
The...

PT Cruiser Cooling System Problems by
jimhigh66
We have a 2001 with approx 100K miles. Consumer Reports magazine indicates
above average cooling system problems for that year. Anyone know what the
problem is -- water pump or radiator or ? I'd just like to know what to
watch for. Tnx.

2007 300C w/Goodyear tires--Noisy by
[email protected]
Car came with Goodyear Assurance tires. After around 16K miles, they
developed a whirring, roaring sound that increase in pitch with speed,
almost as if they were cupped. Too new for bad shocks, I thought. I
rotate tires every 6000 miles religiously.
Had an alignment, and dealer said tires...

Radio antenna and car wash by
ScratchMonkey
I have a 2005 Neon with a rigid radio antenna and I'm worried that if I
take it through an automatic car wash I'll damage it. Should the antenna be
removed before taking it through the wash? (It looks like it might require
a special tool to pop it out.) Nothing in the user's manual seems to give...

Diagnose engine misfire problem by
vd
This is a Town and Country 2003 van (3.8L). It ran fine then the next
day when I started it, it didn't run smoothly. The car shakes a lot.
Check engine line came on and I smelt gas. So, I shut down. I read
the code and it has 3 codes. 1 code is random engine misfire. The
2nd code is cylinder...

Intermittent Transmission Leak by
JR[_3_]
I've notice transmission fluid under my 2001 Chrysler van. It appears
to be running down from the front of the cover. However, this only
happens occassionally. The last time was a year ago, etc., I've had
the tranny/filter changed last summer, but it hasn't leaked until
today. Any ideas? Weather...

2000 Dodge Intrepid with 3.2 liter engine. On starting yesterday,

1989 Chrysler New Yorker Mark Cross Edition - leather roof by
Tuxster
Hi,
I have a 1989 Chrysler New Yorker Mark Cross edition in very fine
condition except for the roof. The old leather portion of the roof
has faded and is peeling away.
What is the material directly under this leather (what the leather is
glued to)?
Looking at it and feeling it, I'm guessing it...

there be anything...

2004 Sebring Touring Oil Changes... by
The Henchman[_2_]
Car is close to 100 000 Km (60 000 miles) Engines is 2.7L driven in
Canada, about 70-30 hiway to city miles.
Should I switch to full or semi synthetic to help this car last to 200 000
Km (120 000 miles+). I am unable to change the oil myself so I take it to
a Wal-Mart lube around the corner...
