03 and newer T&Cs by
Darin
We currently own a 96 T&C LXi with 125k. My wife absolutely loves this
van. The torgue converter was replaced at around 90k and the switch
inside the steering wheel (can't recall the name for it) for the wipers
and air bag light was replaced also. The door locks, mainly the drivers
side door is...

Top Stolen Cars: Dodge Intrepid and Stratus/Sebring by
Greg Houston
The Intrepid (and Status/Sebring) has once again made it into a top
stolen car list, this time for 2001-2003 models. It joins the company
of the likes of Cadillac Escalade and Nissan Maxima.
I understand an awful lot of Intrepids have the SKIM Sentry Key
Immoblizer system which in theory should...

random lock/unlock problem fixed...I hope...LONG by
davets
My 2000 T&C Limited has had a problem with the locks locking/unlocking on
their own. I located the power lock relays that the owner's manual and
Haynes manual say are only serviceable by the dealer and neither gives
there locations that I could find. I removed them, cleaned the contacts
and...

Looking for 91 lebaron headlight control module by
[email protected]
The lights only work sporadically (have to continually push on the
dash), and the dealer told me the headlight control module is the
problem but it's out of stock. I haven't been able to find a salvage
yard that has any clue what the part even is (and I don't really know,
either). Any suggestions?

'95 Voyager 4-spd - groaning noise by
Jeff Wieland
My wife's '95 Voyager (3.0L, 4 spd auto) has started making a groaning
noise when accelerating from a dead stop. If you accelerate VERY
gently, it doesn't do it. If you accelerate normally, it does do it.
Oh, and it doesn't seem to do it when the van is cold. The van has
about 119,000 miles. The...

Programming a 96 New Yorker Fob by
Steve H via CarKB.com
Help,
I recently bought my son a 96 Concorde for $400. The car is in great shape..
except for the transmission. Luckily I had a 95 New Yorker sitting in the
yard with a blown engine...but perfectly good transmission. I have since
changed trannys and now have a great running Concorde ready to go. ...

Grand Voyager - power locks & window by
rheyduck
My wife has had intermittent problems with the electric window
(driver's side) and now the power locks on our 1998 Grand Voyager.
Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. They work fine when I'm
around.
Any ideas?

How long until battery's dead?? by
tomkanpa
I have an anti-theft device on my '01 PT Cruiser. You have to turn the
headlights on to start the car. Which is fine until you forget to turn
them off. Today I forgot and I shut off the ignition. About 40 minutes
later I noticed they were still on. I tried to start the car, it
cranked about three...

Cylinder head Bolt Torque by
Brian
Neon 1998 2000cc SOHC
Hi guys -
my local dealer claims that re-torquing the head bolts after driving with a
new gasket is not necessary - he says that these cars use a different
system, with "sprung bolts" or some such thing. Do you have any idea what he
is talking about, and should the...
