2007 Aura XE - Lucky me by
New & Improved - N/F John
This car has been the best Saturn I've owned. I had a 1999 SC-2 that was
good, but it was at a time when SUV's were making me nervous. This car was
destroyed in a three car accident on the same day 36000 miles were recorded.
End of warranty, end of car.
The next car I had was the L200. As...

Saturn gone? by
somebody[_2_]
http://jalopnik.com/5155377/gm-to-officially-kill-saturn-brand-most-of-pontiac
Our sources tell us GM's viability plan set to be released at 5:00PM
will kill the Saturn brand by 2011. Pontiac will also go away as a
division. But the nameplate will sorta live on.
So basically, what we've heard is...

"We Are Still Saturn" by
PerfectReign[_1_]
I got this in my in basket today. Interesting reading - especially between
the lines.
Dear Kai:
From our very beginning, Saturn has always sought a better way. We pioneered
no-hassle, no-haggle shopping, built dent-resistant cars, set a new
benchmark for customer service and forged a unique...

There have been some good cars produced under those names...and I hope
they'll find a way to continue. But...not under GM. GM has...

Consumer Reports and Saturn by
Dan[_33_]
I have a 1996 SL2 with 240k+ miles on it and just the normal wear & tear
problems. It has been the best new car I have had. I am now looking for an
SUV and the Consumer Reports negative view of the Saturn Vue concern me. Are
the Vue's from 2007 and newer worthy of the negative opinion?

SL2 sticky throttle problem by
David T. Johnson
The throttle accelerator pedal on my '92 Saturn SL2 seemed to be
sticking so that when you stopped at a traffic light, the idle rpm might
be at 2-3K before slowly dropping back down to idle speed after 30 or 40
seconds. The pedal and cable linkage were fine. The 'Service Engine
Soon' light...

Service/Mechanic Recommendation in San Francisco? by
jim g
Hi, new to this group...
A few months ago I received a letter from a competing GM dealer that
my long-time source for maintenance (for better or worse) on my 1998
SW1 -- Saturn of Colma -- had closed their doors. This neighboring GM
dealer was inviting me to utilize their service department now...

Help - Rotors frozen on Ion-2 by
somebody[_2_]
It's time to change the rotors on my 2005 Ion-2. The two retaining
clips were easy enough but the rotor is rusted to the hub.
What's better? Heat? (I don't have a torch, but have to ask)
Beat it with a big hammer?
Find some kind of puller somewhere?
Thanks!

Front seat repair ideas 94 SC2 by
Fred[_14_]
Hi
Anyone have any idea what is the best course to follow here. Left front
bucket seat edge totally worn out to the springs. Should I take it to a seat
repair place (if I can find one), or are there new seats for a 94 that would
be a better choice?
