Flashing battery test light by memphistim
The electrical system on my '91 Mazda 929 has gone completely haywire. I checked for a short with a 12 volt test light between negative cable and -battery terminal. The result was a steady on and off flash. Does the indicate a short in my turn signal? If anyone has any ideas I'd like to hear them....

oem or aftermarket cr. control-diy install-tacoma-99? by patrick mitchel
Have a 99 toyota tacoma( (2.4-4) - a recent purchase that I'd like to put a cr. control in. I note that there is a genuine toyota part available online (about $250 us) and rostra controls has one available as well. I'm guessing that the toyota part would be straightforward vs the aftermarket...

'93 Chevy Astrovan strange startup sound and smell by inneedofhelp
I'm not very knowledgeable about cars so I was hoping someone could help me diagnose this problem I've been having. When I try to startup the van, it turns over for longer than should before it actually starts up, about 5-10 sec's. Also there seems to be a smell of gasoline when I start it up. In...

Good day My problem today is that a friend of mine was helping me work on my car. First problem that I had was that there was a knocking sound coming from under my car. I suspected it to be the Universal joint which was leading into my yoke. Yoke bearings are still tough, it was rebuilt a couple...

Brake lights won't turn off by sinister
I own a 1994 Nissan Altima GXE. Wouldn't start, so I replaced the battery, which was getting old. Starts fine. But I noticed the brake lights are on, and they won't go off. Tried jiggling the brakes and handbrake; no joy. Anything I can do short of taking it into a shop?

Attaching tail light by Martik
1980 Tbird tail light just fits into place w/o any clips. What should I use to 'glue' it to the trim? There was some black putty like material all around but it is too loose for my liking. Thanks

Hello to all, This question is regarding a 2003 chevy venture with just under 20,000 miles on it. From time to time, when I start the car there is a good 2 to 3 seconds of cranking time before it turns over. Most of the time it starts immediately after the starter motor begins cranking. ...
