Tonight, they try to build an electric car.
I have some old plans here I bought back in the 1970s that show how to
convert a gas engine car to electric.I think Mother Earth magazine has
some plans how to do that too.

[email protected]
I have a 1989 buick that was stored over the winter. When he found the
battery dead my dad hooked up the battery charger to it and kept
trying to start it. After charging for about 6 hours without
interruption the car started ok.
The problem is the instrument panel does not work, so no...

That soft Summer time tar was the only shoes we could afford.
I used to have to wear hand me down shoes, leather shoes.Have you ever
had to put some pieces of cardboard in your shoes to cover over the
holes in the soles of your shoes? I used to do that, back in the 1940s.

frame/trailer hitch issue by
Nate Nagel[_2_]
OK, so I got the hitch ball that I mentioned in my previous post removed
(the less said about that the better, but it involved a very large
Crescent wrench, a pipe wrench, and a 4 foot cheater bar)
Now I find that I have another "opportunity" as the motivational
speakers would say.
The truck...

dumb hitch ball question by
Nate Nagel[_2_]
first question I can probably answer with a little googling, but would
appreciate an answer on the second...
1) what size is the nut on a typical hitch ball? Largest socket I have
is 36mm and it's not big enough.
2) is that something that I could find in any store nearby? Auto parts
store or...
