91 Explorer A/C parts, what's the difference between parts marked"From 4/91" and "To 4/91"? by runderwo

Need Advice: Removing Ford Power Window Regulator? by Josh[_8_]
The driver side power window motor on my 93 Ford Aerostar (171,000 miles) has gone bad. I know it's the motor or regulator gearing and not the switch or wiring because when I put a good 12V and ground directly to the motor wires inside the door panel, the motor still won't turn in either direction....

"stretch bolts"? (Cylinder head) by George[_23_]
I'm considering taking the head off our '99 Cavalier 2.2L. A couple of parts stores have said that the head bolts are one-time-use "stretch bolts", and need to be replaced. The (GM) service manual doesn't say anything about this. I would appreciate any clarification. Thanks, George

Is it ok to switch between brands of synthetic oil? by techman41973
Sometimes I do my own oil changes and I prefer to use Mobil-1. But at quick-lube places like Jiffy Lube, they usually offer Penzoil Platinum synthetic for only $12 more. Is it ok to switch between brands of synthetic at oil changes or are there solid reasons to stay with one brand of synthetic?

A lady comes in to our store to get an oil filter. I look up the filter and we have it in stock. She asks what brand do we carry and I tell...
