new Honda CR-V break in by Guy[_2_]
I got a new 2010 CR-V and wife asked me how to break it in properly. What is the proper way? I don't care what the manual says. What do you guys feel is the best mileage to do the first oil change? I normally change my oil and filter around 3500 miles on my other cars with no synthetic.

Honda "Drive by Wire" question... what if the power goes out? by David E. Powell
Hi there. I have been looking at the new Honda Civic, it's pretty sweet, and the welds and everything are as nice as anything I have ever seen. I just have a question about the "Drive by wire" system that they are supposed to have. What happens if the Engine dies on you? In my current car, my...

stuck caliper... by Abeness
Confound it!! So I was all set to replace clutch master and slave cyls today on my 94 Civic, and hit a massive NYC pothole on the way to my friends' garage (level, enclosed). Shortly after the pothole I hear this scraping sound from my left front wheel, worse when I braked. So I get to the garage...

No pressure on clutch pedal - can't change gear by Al Reynolds
Hi, I've just gone out to my 97 Honda Accord and there is no pressure on my clutch pedal. If I push it down, it goes all the way to the floor, and if I then lift it a little the spring causes it to come back up. Initially there was a little bit of pressure bringing it back up, but now there's...

Consider buying American! by [email protected]
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/23124844/ GM just made it known that they lost 39 billion in 2007, the largest ever annual loss for a US automaker. The big three are losing money, and if we don't give them the support they need, they are going to go under. Consider buying an American car. Here are...

Import owners are to blame for the recession by [email protected]
If all Americans bought American cars, the US economy would be rockin and rollin right now. Don't give me that stuff about Toyota and Honda manufacturing over here either. GM employs 130,000 in the United States. Toyota employs 30,000, Honda less than that. Most of the import jobs are just blue...

F20A 's resistors*' location ( below bonnet, too hot ) is very wrong. by TE Cheah[_2_]
* own heat when input voltage is 13.5 v is already 13.5²/ 9.2 ( 7 + 2.2 ohm ) = 19.8 watt ( assuming 4 injectors in total receive current all the time ), hit by hot air from 2 radiators, so * are hot : *'s heat flow toward injectors, so injectors are too hot for nozzles to be clean. In 2-10 I used...
