1988 Dodge Caravan rattling noise in engine by [email protected]
My mother drives a 1988 Dodge Caravan that has simply just started this rattling noise, like there's a loose screw in there or something. Now, she went to a mechanic, and the mechanic frightened her by saying that it could be a broken rocker arm, and that she should just arrange for a junkyard to...

A/C system replacement by [email protected]
Group: I have a 2000 grand caravan which had the A/C compressor lock up and shred the serpentine belt (Stank too!). So, I got a pulled unit out of the boneyard to have a free pulley to put with the new belt. Looking down the line, I really would like to have the A/C for summer. Local mechanic...

Sebring MTC problem by Spam Hater
Suddenly my wife's '91 Sebring has a problem with the Manual Temperature Control. -Only the high speed blower setting works. -The vent selection doesn't work. All fuses are OK. Nothing else electrical seems in trouble. My next step seems to pull that part of the panel off. Ideas welcome.

1996 Dodge Grand Caravan won't start or barely runs by [email protected]
My 1996 Grand Caravan (3.3L) stalled last week at a light. It does that often, but this time it was difficult to get it restarted. It finally started and off I went. About a mile later, it stalled again, this time it wouldn't restart. I left the van and came back to it periodically to try to get it...

1996 Grand Caravan 3.3L belt tensioner issue by [email protected]
My belts are squealing on my battlecruiser. I replaced my belt and water pump (it seized on me and shredded the old belt) a few months ago and the new belt I installed has been squealing ever since. I can't, for the life of me, figure out how to adjust the tensioner on this thing to make it stop....

99 T&C AWD rear rotor removal? by Will Halina
Hi Guys: Any one have tips on removal of the rear brake rotors on the AWD minivans? It's not clear to me if brute force is required or perhaps I missed something. BTW, there are the rotors with the (painfully awful design IMHO) integrated parking brake drums on the backside.. TIA Will

1994 Intrepid 3.5L tranny leak by NowItsWhatever
Tranny fluid appears to be leaking from the front of the transmission. No fluid is leaking from the pan. Any ideas about what the repair will involve. 163,000 miles on this tranny. No repairs needed so far. I just don't like the mess it makes.

Chrysler video quality by Art
Our 1999 Chrysler 300M came with a VHS videotape explaining its features. We never looked at it and it has been sitting in the glove compartment of the car since Dec 1998 when we bought the car. We just gave the car to our in-laws who opened and viewed and enjoyed the tape. How's that for...

New Dodge vehicles by Matt Whiting
I just got an email from Dodge about the new Caliber SRT4 and the Nitro. Man, what a couple of butt ugly vehicles! The rear view of the Caliber is especially ugly and the Nitro looks ugly from every angle. What is Chrysler thinking? At least the engine should be decent in the Caliber as I...
