Replacing Horn 1998 Saturn SL2 by
Sorebikr
I've read through as many posts here as I could find about replacing
the horn (and/or) relay on this car and I'm sorry to say I'm still a
bit confused.
Here's what I've done, and I think I know wthe problem, just not how to
fix it:
-I'm getting juice to the horn.
-I purchased a new horn, but I...

No power, rough idle by
Roy[_1_]
98 SL1, 165,000km
I have rough idle down around 500-750RPM (it usually idles just over
1000RPM). Very little power. When I floor it in neutral the RPM gauge goes
to 4200 and pulses.
Looking under the hood at lunch time and the PCV hose was cracked/split and
flattened. I replaced the hose but...

Punishing GM for killing electric car by
Bret Ludwig
Wouldn't be that hard.
The State of California could concoct some law whose real effect would
be to punish GM for its perceived perfidy. When the Governator goes, it
will become politically feasible.

A Quality car has a long term, QUALITY warranty! Sorry SATURN !
Tim of Hoover, AL (12/17/01):
I own a '95 Saturn SL-1 which I bought new. In January 1999 (only
months after the 3-year warranty expired), the cylinder head cracked. I
took the car in to get it fixed. The sales rep who sold me the car...

Fenders for Saturn by
[email protected]
Good day. I used to be a regular on this board up to a few years ago when both my Saturns were in accidents (trials and tribulations of teen aged children)
I hope you are all doing well keeping your Saturns running.
I have a drivers side fender for a 1995 sedan and a passenger side fender for...

"Grrrr" wheel bearing or engine mount problem?? by
millinghill
Hi.
I have a 2001 Saturn SL1. 109k miles. 4 brand new tires (last
week). For the past 6months, something in front left of car makes a
"grrrrr" noise which only starts to be noticeable when going faster
than 30mph, and increases in volume, and pitch, with speed. I don't
think it's the engine or...

People Last by
marx404
As most of you here know, I work at a Saturn dealership. I think you might
find this interesting on how Saturn treats thier employees and thinks of
people.
Last Wed night while driving home down a dark I95 southbound, I drove into a
very heavy rainstorm. In a second's time, with no time to react,...

Wheel for Honda and Saturn by
Chris Lamb
Would like to buy an aluminum wheel that will work on both my 97 Honda
Civic hatchback and my 99 Saturn SC-1 3-door. For Honda is says +48mm
offset and for Saturn it says 4-100. I have no idea what that means.
Will same wheel work on both cars? Honda recommends 45-16 tire and
Saturn...

"open loop" problem with 2000 SL1 by
Paul Swinderman
on friday I encounted a problem with my saturn that seems to have
mushroomed to something bigger. I was accelerating up a hill and when
the car hit 40 it began shuddering like it was out of gas even though
it wasn't. I noticed it didn't do this while coasting. I dropped it
off at a garage that was...

rhythmic hesitation in '93 SL1 by
[email protected]
I have a '93 SL1 with 145k miles. It seems to have a worsening problem
with hesitation when going between 25-40 mph (2nd/3rd gear? it's
automatic transmission), and feels like it could stall. Yesterday was
noticeably bad, so I revved it up while idling and it has a regular
rhythmic hesitation...

2004 Saturn Vue V6 is awsome! by
Ken R
A few weeks back, my old 1990 dodge sedan died and we started looking for
something to replace it. With our growing family of 5 (and the extra stuff
one must haul as a result) we decided on a smaller SUV and went to a local
Saturn lot that had a good mix used models from various makers. The...

Bird Poop? by
[email protected]
I know this may seem like a silly question, but I really could use some
help on this. The other day a Bird decided to dump on the Roof of my
L300. Well I did not notice it at first and it kind of baked on in the
Hot Sun. When I did finally get it off, it seemed like it damaged the
clear coat a...
