Brake Fluid by HyperCube33 \(Life2Death\)[_52_]
If I dare attempt to purge my brakes myself, any tips? I read somewhere that there is a good fluid that isn't the standard color for sat - and helps let you know when all of the old fluid is flushed out. I plan on trying the Brembo rotors and Greenstuff pads as recommended!

brake pedal to floor after bleeding by wieldymouse
I recently changed the pads on the front of an SL2. When I went to test drive it, the pedal ad little pressure, but the car would stop. I thought maybe I needed to bleed it. After doing that, the pedal has absolutely no pressure and the brakes don't work at all. Can someone help me out here?

Brake problems 24 may05 by Roy
Had my 98 SL1 in to have rotors and pads changed. Since I got it back every once in a while the front brakes will tighten up. The pedal gets really firm and when I push in the clutch it is like the brakes are being applied lightly. It only seems to be affecting the front, if I hit the brakes...

We recently had a front brake job done on our 2001 SL2. Within a few days there was anoticeable vibration in the pedal. The mechanic who did the work said he believed that since we were feeling the vibration in the pedal instead of the steering wheel that the problem was with the rear brakes. He...
