Nope. MTS are livebearers, no eggs. :)

Plant diagnosis by
Graham Ramsay
I wonder if some one would be kind enough to
look at this plant:
www.ibrox.freeserve.co.uk/images/hygro.gif
It's a fast growing plant (I think a Hygro of sorts)
and looks to have some kind of deficiency. Searching
the web I think it may be Potassium. Can anybody
confirm?

Indoor Gardening by
[email protected]
A lot of people stick a fake tree in a corner, dust the leaves off
every week, and call it indoor gardening, but indoor gardening has
grown into much more than that lately. There are also a lot of people
that thinks plants belong and should stay inside, but there are many
reasons for starting an...

Cloudy water after water change by
Jody Pellerin
Your tank may be getting too much light. Is it in sun light? Do you leave
your hood lights on a lot? That can and does tend to make the water quite
cloudy.

Little Plastic Pots by
Ron Nelson
Usually you do want to remove the pots and the wool that the plants are
rooted in. And then just plant them right into the substrate. As for the
snails - well if you didn't clean the plants in diluted bleach or something
like that chances are good you'll end up with snails at some point or at
least...

Light temp question by
Jak Crow
I'm acquiring a CF light fixture from someone that currently has reef
bulbs; 2 10000Ks and 2 actinic, with 2 extra 10000Ks. I know the
actinics aren't useful for plant growth, but what about the 10000Ks? I
won't be able to get 6500K or 6700K bulbs for a while, but I've read
in a couple places that...

Fishless (temporary) planted tank question by
Cichlidiot
Hi all,
If you read my little disaster story last week in alt.aquaria, you would
know my 40g display tank is now fishless. I don't want to restock until I
move (late Aug/early Sep), but I do have plants in that tank that I'd like
to keep healthy until I restock. The plants are Aponogeton bulbs...

Lighting Kit Question by
ben
I have a 40 gallon planted tank and I would like to upgrade the lighting.
I currently have 2 regular 36" flourescents (30W each) on top of a glass
canopy. My crypts and Java Fern are going fine, but nothing else really
thrives even with compressed CO2 and I'd like to be able to grow a...

as some days even after water changes? Is this normal? The tank was

My relandscaped 29gal tank by
Graham Broadbridge
I think it looks great, especially compared to the older photos.
Only comment would be to lose the stick-on thermometer on the front of the
tank and use something a little more discreet.
I wish I could find a supplier of that substrate :-)
Graham.

Comparison of Trace Mixes by
[email protected]
Hello all,
I recently came across a trace element mix in my local garden
supply/seed store produced by Whitmire Micro-Gen. Since the price is
only $1.50/lb as opposed to $6-$7/lb+ for mail order sources - I was
wondering what the experts here thought of the possibility of using
this for PMDD. ...

Heated substrate? Cable heaters? by
Tasslehoff
*top posted*
IMO after you've got sufficient lighting and a decent CO2 injection/reactor
system then you can spend whatever's left towards substrate heating. IME my
unheated substrate 3' tank is basically whatever the room temp is. After
tearing out some flourite to transfer to my heated 4' tank...
