Dome light on 2002 Corolla - how to pry it off? Otherwise, $50 at dealership by [email protected]
My Toyota dealership wants to change me $50 for replace the bulb in the dome light inside my car and license plate lights. I think the parts are only $8. How do I pry the dome off myself? Do I need a special tool? Seems like a waste to spend $40 on labor I could do myself. Thanks.

Tires - why not all AA grade? by Jim
I was looking at Honda CRVs tonight at a dealer. They all had tires that were graded Traction B Temperature B - even the top trim level of CRV had them. Made either by Dunlop or Bridgestone. I know that AA tires cost just a little bit more, and cannot understand: A. Why Honda would let their...

charging marine battery off car? by William R. Watt
Wondering if it would be feasible while driving on the highway to charge a battery for an electic trolling motor off the car's chargin system. Seems you could charge for free that way using the unused output from the alternator.

Cruise Control Problem by cover
Back in November, I turned on my windshield wipers one morning, they didn't come on and I assumed I had something going on with the switch. Never went any further with that line of thinking because the next time I used the vehicle, the wipers worked fine and have ever since. On my last trip on the...

sealed "lifetime" vs. non-sealed front wheel bearings by [email protected]
Can anyone explain the mechanical difference between front wheel bearings with a standard oil seal (that need repacking) vs. the newer "sealed" or "lifetime" units? Is it just a seal with a tighter clearance? I don't see how anything constantly rotating and/or turning can completely shut out the...
