Engine Check light went out by itself by Scott Streeter[_1_]
Last Friday when I was going out for lunch my car started running VERY rough. Barely running. I had driven into work that morning and it was fine. Anyways it just turned out to be bad plug wires (since they were still the originals at 63,000). This all caues the engine check light to come on. I...

Me and my Roadster puppy... and a tomato by Peer Landa
Well... ..perhaps I'm a very right-brained kind of kid, but back home they now tend to think I have no brain whatsoever, (something of course my ex-girlfriend claimed all along). The latest example: http://ccrma.stanford.edu/~peer/peerRoadster.html -- peer

LOUD NOISE by Genny
Hi all: My 94 Miata has been making a loud noise for months. It happens when I start up the car in the morning (or after it has been parked for a while and I start it up.) The noise is more than likely the drive belt (sometimes it will stop if I turn off the AC - sometimes it happens when I make a...

Changing color of dash lights by Beemer
My 2004 Miata MazdaSpeed has red dash lights. I was told there are "mittens" that go over the bulbs in the dash. Has anyone seen these? I would like information on purchasing the "mittens" and how difficult it would be. Thanks

20th Anniversayr Edition by Rob[_21_]
I assume that this is just a UK model, as it was posted on a UK website, but it looks as if Mazda are doing a Limited Edition 20th Anniversary model. <http://www.pistonheads.com/news/default.asp?storyId=21443> It's a bit of a let down. It's the base-model with different wheels, a few badgees and...

99 Miata - installed AEM Air Intake - Slight Back Firing by Pat Dreiding
Just added an AEM short air intake to my stock 99 Miata without a problem. However, every once in a while I'm hearing some back firing (single "pop"ing noise). Is this normal? Is there any adjustments I need to do? Was it a mistake to add this Intake? Thank you for your feedback, - Pat Dreiding

Again frozen door weatherstriip. by Zing
We've had some icy misty foggy nights here in NJ. My door weatherstripping on my 2002 Protege had some minor problems with being frozen to the door frame. In the fall I used a rag and sprayed it liberally with Permatex silicone and wiped several times the weatherstripping and door frame where it...

Mazda-626 by goldengolf
I have a 2000 mazda 626, automatic transmission that will not go in gear. The shifting lever in on the center console, it will slide forward and backward through all the gears but will not engage. Could this be a transmission problem or maybe a linkage problem. Any Ideas?

My 2000 Miata has been sitting in garage for many months. When I tried to move it, I found that the clutch pedal is frozen. Steady (but not 100%) force with my foot does not budge clutch pedal. When car is running, clutch does not depress, manual gearshift changes gears, but car does not move. ...

Need a reservoir cap...desperate! by r0lliSl1fe
So I hop in the car one painfully frigid night to drive a friend to his car. "Boy," I say, "what a good friend I am. Not only does my friend not have to walk all the way to that remote parking lot, but he gets to ride there in style and warmth." You can imagine the pain I felt deep inside when I...
