The gas gage on my 99 T & C is going beserk. Initially showing partially filled on a full tank. Low fuel light and audible alarm coming on and off when plenty of fuel in the tank. Looking at my Haynes manual, it looks like the tank has to be dropped to take out the fuel pump module to...

Steeering noise, '99 T & C by Frank Boettcher
My '99 T & C 3.8L with 140,000 miles has just started to "whine" or "groan" when steered. Most noise coming on the wheel return part of the cycle. I can't feel any vibration or catching in the steering, it works fine. Fluid is up. What might I suspect is making the noise? Thanks Frank

99 T & C spark plug change - follow up by Frank Boettcher
Well, I completed the spark plug job today. What a PITA. Back side driver and middle got from below with" relative" ease with a small 3/8" ratchet and a short extension. Vehicle was jacked up and on short stands to give me working room. Passenger side rear required the removal of the top...

Tran pan leak 99 T & C by Frank Boettcher
So I go to Cottman (who have done good work for me in the past) and get a full drain, flush, pan drop and clean service on my transmission. Verify proper fluid. A few weeks later I notice a very minor oil leak on my carport. I didn't put two and two together and figured I had developed an oil...

Take the money and put it into a money market account or short term cd. Only take money out to pay covered items less deductible. when you hit the time or mileage that cancels the policy take the remaining money and have a party. I bet you will have a good one. Had a friend once who was the top...

99 T & C transmission fluid change by Frank Boettcher
I'm due a trans service on my 99 T & C. Opinions, please, on the relative advantage of a flush and fill service at either the dealer or one of the quick lube places vs. a pan drop drain/filter change which I might just do myself. Thanks, Frank

Anyone know what the thread is on the mounting bolts for the rear shocks on a 99 T & C. it seems to be 12mm but I don't know the pitch. Took the old shocks off and two of the four bolts are not usable. One was bent (appears the bottom of the shock hit something) and another was galled. ...
