Xenon HID lights. The real ones, not the fake halogen types. I live in good
old Rhode Island where its fasionable to have winding, hilly streets with
little or no street lights. Anyway I...

Rear pads worn by
zonie
This week I thought I heard the pad wear indicators on my '04 Accord. I
looked at the pads from the outside and all looked well. But upon removal
of the rear pads, the outer pad looked okay but the inner pad was worn to
the indicator .The car has 29000 easy miles. The fronts look to be about
40%...

06 Civic wiper cover by
Robert Barr
Why did they have to make this so difficult, just to change the wiper
inserts?
I can change the insert on a GM vehicle (especially if it's equipped
with Anco blades) in about 30 seconds in pitch darkness. On this Civic,
brand new (almost), it became quite a challenge.
Removing the cover shown...

1992 Honda Accord Clutch fluid leak by
[email protected]
I've got a 1992 Accord with a leak somewhere - I replaced the master
cylinder last week (it was leaking onto the pedal floor) and, after
bleeding and adjusting the pedal/master cylinder piston height, the
pedal finally retracts. The clutch pedal was acting funny in two ways:
1) occasionally doesn't...

Australia sucks by

I'm trying to help this guy in Dubai. His car is an Accord Vi coupe with
the JDM 2.2L DOHC F22B (rare!).
All he needs to know is the part numbers for the timing belt and some
related components, so he can buy new and replace old. The Dubai dealer is
being *less* than helpful, since the car was...

Hi,
I have a 99 accord 4 disk brake model. I have a damaged wheel stud.
Appears that during my last tire change on of the wal-mart mechanics

Acura TL caliper bolts? by
Netsock[_1_]
I have a 2002 Acura TL -S, and want to install new front
rotors/pads...somebody mentioned the caliper bolts would be the same
as an Accord.
I don't know if that is true, but what I am after is the bolt
type/size, to make sure I have the right tools before jacking here up.
Any help?
TIA!

The manufacturer's recommended break-in period for a Honda Accord, six
cylinder, with automatic is 600 miles. I was advised by someone at the
dealership that cruise control should not be used until the vehicle
has been driven for 1500 miles. The owner's manual makes no mention of
a separate...

Automatic vs. manual transmission in a used Honda Civic by
Jacqueline Passey
I am trying to find a good used Honda Civic hatchback with a manual
transmission in the Seattle area and so far haven't been having any
luck. I have found a few with automatic transmissions. The reason I
was looking for a manual is that it's a cheaper repair if/when it
breaks than an automatic...

restoring floormats (removing ground in dirt and stains) by
[email protected][_1_]
My car has close to 200K miles, although I have kept my interior in
great condition.
Even new carpeted floormats however seem tough to keep clean.
I have used pure steam on them with no luck (Euro-Pro EP93 steamer),
and those aerosol cleaner cans with the built in brush don't cut...
