04 Ion coupe electric steering by
Mark
I've had my 04 ion for about 30 days now and still having problems
getting use to the electric steering on freeways. In the city...no
problem, but on the freeway yicks! Couple posts I've read mention that
saturn improved the calibration to improve the feel. Going straight
ok, but those little...

04 ION front bushing problems? by
cei/pwm
I have an 04 Ion 3 with just over 2000 miles on it, a clunking in the
front end began about 300 miles ago and has grown steadily worse. The
car is at the dealer now and the service tech mentioned a bushing
problem with some Ions. Has any one else heard of this and if so what
info can you...

04 V6 AWD Vue - Transaxle fluid by
Howard Slomer
Where is the dipstick for checking the transaxle fluid? My owners
manual has a nice description on how to check the fluid level on Page 5-26
and references Page 5-12 to find the location of the dipstick. The V6
diagram is actually on Page 5-14 but has no reference to the transaxle
dipstick...

04 Vue front end noise by
Wes
Hi all,
I recently bought a 2004 V6 FWD Vue. In my opinion, it was a hard deal to
pass up. 24k, power/heated seats, moonroof, 6 speaker CD, like new
condition. $14,875. I added a bumper to bumper 100k warranty for a total of
$15,995.
So far I have driven it about 400 miles and just love it. The...

05 Ion by
Bill Lederer
We traded in our 95 coupe for an 05 Ion. We need a car to tow behind
the motorhome.
We bought the car last December and put 2,000 miles over the last four
months. We had to go to a funerial in Virginia Beach last weekend and
took the Saturn. Ten hours down and nine back. I have to say it was
quite...

Hi all, I just leased an 07 ION 3 (wife has an 06) and was wondering at what

07 Vue (V6) Ignition Switch Problem by
[email protected]
I've been having a problem with my VUE ignition switch. I sometimes
cannot turn the key or it will only turn part way. When I turn the
ignition off it is sometimes difficult to remove the key. A local
dealer suggested WD40. This worked for a while but the problem
quickly returned. I tried the...

10 W 30 instead of 5 - should I care? by
Server 13
The kids at our local Pennzoil oil change place just out 10 W 30 in my
excellent '96 SW2 wagon instead of the 5 W 30 I requested, should I care?
The car is routinely used for city and highway driving, and of course the
weather's nice and warm outside these days. I currently burn about 1/4...

15,000 mile synthetic motor oil by
carqs123
The Saturn dealer said he guesses it's OK to use the 15,000 mile
synthetic motor oil. Just make sure to change the filter every 3-5K
miles.
Any thoughts on this matter?

Hi, I posted a year ago, but anyway, here is a zipfile of Yogi
Bearmusic. ONE of those..33 ZR-48 Fast Movement (Geordie Hormel) is
the tune used in at least two of those old commercials (courtesy
Capital records/Ole George) before Ole Georg lost the rights to those.
Here is the address.

1991 SL2 Low RPM Rough and Stall problem by
Rob
I have a 1991 SL2 that idles very rough when at low rpm, even to the point
of stalling. The rpm will fluctuate between 500 and 1500. When I put it
into neutral it does not do this. I have gotten a 26 diagnostic code and
replaced the PCM and the throttle position sensor, to no avail.
I would...

1992 Saturn by
mpiquet
My 92 Saturn SL1 (5speed) battery was dead, I got a jump start and let it
run over 20 min.
When I put it into gear, it just died and would not start without another
jump. Again, once I put it into gear, it quit.
I've recently had a tune up and new alternator put on. Any suggestions?
It's now been...

1992 SL2 - Aftermarket Disc Brake Pads by
Scott
I have continually experienced problems over the years with the front
disk brake rotors and pads for my 1992 SL2 - particularly the "warped
rotor" sensation that is not caused by a warped rotor (others have
indicated that it has to do with the interaction between the pad
material and the iron of...

Hello,
I have recently been having A/C problems in my 1992 Saturn SL2

and still trucking along, although hotter now). I took it to Saturn,
they charged it up for me with R134a (conversion valves/fittings
retrofit done by them previously). That set me back $70. It worked
