Gas Gage Problems - '99 T & C by
Mike Behnke
First order of business is to get your hands on the FSM. Check E-Bay.
Second order of business, use the Haynes manual to clean your tools
and hands after your replaced the pump/sending unit. Due to their
numerous errors, Haynes manuals are virtually useless.

PT Cruiser key question by
Steve Stone[_3_]
Are the keys used for 2006-2009 PT Cruisers all cut the same?
Was wondering if I could reprogram a spare key already programmed for a
2006 for a 2009 model.

2001 2.7 Intrepid...a deal? by
DeserTBoB
I've noted the Chrysler/Daimler/Toyota/VW oil sludging imbroglio since
it started showing up in the press, and have noted that it further
depressed prices on 2.7-equipped LH cars to the point to where many
seem like pretty good deals for someone with some mechanical smarts.
Case in point: An...

95 Caravan Transmission Problems by
mike
My 1995 transmission was overhauled about 5 years ago.
It started slipping this past week-end. I drove it today and couldn't
get it into high gear. Stayed at about 4500 rpm and 60 mph on the
freeway.
Do you think if I changed the fluid and filter it would help or am I
sunk?
I remember hearing...

'94 Acclaim - No Headlights in Cold Weather by

The headlights on my '94 Plymouth Acclaim won't work when the outside
temperature is below freezing. But they do work when the temperature rises
above freezing. All the other lights and electrical components work fine
regardless of the temperature. Any suggestions appreciated.

I have an 84 Chrysler New Yorker and when I turn the air on, the air has a
bad smell coming through the vents for the first few minutes then it goes
away. Now I did have the car setting up for a while (almost 2 years) and
drove it very seldom during this period. So is there something that builds

Yet another coolant thread - Matrix Chart by

I ran across a great matrix chart of the various coolants available.
Six coolants have checks in the HOAT column, and five of these are
listed as meeting DaimlerChrysler OEM specifications.
If the chart is accurate, I'm curious why the Mopar HOAT coolant has a
check in the w/out Phosphate column,...
