Junkyard transmission? by
[email protected]
What years of Caravan automatic transmissions are compatible with the
1993 4-speed automatic, the one that needs frequent costly repairs?
Would it make sense to look for a replacement in a junkyard, and hope
to find a more recent year, when the transmissions weren't quite as
bad? How bad of a...

Illegal Immigration, the Non-Issue of the Week?????????????? by
Expert Humor
The way our politicians rushed to talk about
illegal immigration this week, maybe they thought it
came with a free lunch. They won't do anything about it,
but it will get them some money. The Expert provides
the details at:

There is a concept of "Too Bog To Fail" that will ultimately be brought
into play here as it was with Chryslar in 1979.

Air Filter Housing 2.7 Intrepid 1998 by
Keith
I replaced my Air Filter today, also took out the housing to clean the
battery terminal underneath.
I removed the Air Hose from the Upper part of the filter housing.
After reassembling I seem to have a rubber gasket that fits over the end of
the filter outlet but I cannot for the life of me figure...

1997 Cirrus Instruments by
Mike Surwill
Here's a cute problem (not) --
The tach does not register, and the odometer and transmission gear indicator
lights on the instrument panel don't work either. Odd thing is,
intermittantly these three instruments will start working while driving, and
continue to work until the car is shut off --...

Fuel injector service??? by
Percival P. Cassidy
I received a letter in the name of my local dealer (but mailed from
another state) offering me "special deals" on my '02 300M's next oil
change (looks like the same price I always pay) and on a "fuel injector
service" for $87.50.
I've checked the Owner's Manual, and I can't see anything about...

about $9,500-9,995, 55,000-99,000 miles, regardless of year. Any

2001 Caravan Gas Pedal Sticking by
Joy Suyehara
Frequently, the gas pedal will stick as I'm driving. I can be cruising
on the freeway and when I want to accelerate, the pedal will be hard to
push. Eventually, I can get the pedal to work, but it is scary. The
pedal can also be hard to push after the car has been setting for a
while....

96 Plymouth Neon wiring: problem with speakers, blinkers, gauges by
Joseph O'Brien
I have a 1996 Plymouth Neon (2.0L SOHC), somewhere between 120K-150K.
It's giving me some minor electrical trouble, and was hoping to get
some advice here. Here's a brief history:

Of Sway Bar Bushings and End Links by
Richard
When my 01 PT Cruiser started clunking down the road at about 50,000 miles I
picked up new bushings and sway bar links. It was a very easy job and not
too expensive.
Now my 04 Town & Country started clunking down the road at about 55,000
miles.
Chrysler sells an improved front sway bar bushing...

Chrysler Cirrus 1999 by
max
Hi guys,
since 5 days I own an Chrysler Cirrus LX (1999, 2,4ltr, automatic
transmission).
I wonder whether this car has anti-lock break system (ABS). There is no
panel light (to show function/malfunction) or switch to
activate/deactivate. I did a full breaking at 30mph for a break test
but I could...

Transmission reliability on long road trip by
[email protected]
If you're on a long road trip in a 1993 Grand Caravan with 4-speed
automatic transmission, and the transmission goes bad and needs to be
rebuilt, what's the best solution? Should you go to a transmission
shop, or a Dodge dealer, or what? How much should you expect to pay?
How long should you...

99 T&C headlight wiring and poor performance by
Will Halina
Here's my story:
The road illumination from this vehicle seemed to be getting pathetic
lately. I noticed that the exterior of the lens were pitted, but as well
the interior of the lens has been fogging up and has moisture in them. When
they dry out, the reflector and interior of the lens is not...
