replacement seats for a 1988 CRX DX with good back support? by [email protected]
I googled for this topic, but didn't find a complete discussion. The seats in my 1988 Honda CRX DX are falling apart. I've had them recovered in the past, but the seats are also weak on lower back support and recovering them isn't going to provide the additional back support I want. Do the after...

Accord Fuel/Spark Blues by [email protected]
I have a 91 Accord... I found it cheap and have been tinkering with it. The problem? It runs good for a very short time and then wants to die at low RPMs. The longer it runs the worse it preforms at low RPM. As soon as you get above 1.5/2K it runs great... I have fixed the main relay, rewired and...

I know people have talked about this and I tried to find out by asking to saleman as Autozone and Pepboy. They all said it's ok to mix a traditoin green coolant and type 2. I'm not sure I'm quick to believe that. Those sale guys just want to sell their stuff...I need to find out more.

lost control on accord when turning corner by ap
Hello, I've a 2001 accord LX that I've driven for several years. Had the tires changed about 2 years ago and the front pads changed. Just today when driving towards a parking lot, I was going 35 mph (road was wet) and when I applied brakes and turned left, the car didn't stop and went straight...

1 Attachment(s) Is my '94 Accord today's Civic? by Keith Loyd
For interior space, SoCalMike's '88 Accord has a good case to be today's Civic. The '94 is a bit larger, though all of them share many dimensions within 1" of each other data from...

Crush Washer by [email protected]
I don't have a Honda Dealer close by. Can I go to my local hardware store to get a crush washer? Or is there something special about them, that they have to be bought at the Honda Dealer?

Ignition timing question...? by Matt Ion
This should initiate some good debate... I've always understood that ignition timing should be set with any advance systems (vacuum diaphragm, etc.) disconnected. I tried to set up my '87 Accord that way, and I can't get anywhere near the 20-degree timing mark with the vacuum advance disonnected....

Is my '94 Accord today's Civic? by Misterbeets
My 88 Accord is still bigger than a new Civic, so your 94 certainly is, enough to make a difference in my opinion.

90 model civic dx injection operation from factory manual by Steve
I'm working on a project, adapting the dual point TB injection from a 90 civic DX to my 77 civic 1200. I'm going to use an aftermarket EFI computer (megasquirt) but have a couple of questions someone with a factory manual might be able to answer. I know this system uses a primary and secondary...

2001 Accord - left rear caliper sticking by George Earl
I have a 2001 Accord LX-V6 with 78k miles on it. This past week I noticed hot brake smell after my 10 mile drive to work and I noticed that the left rear lug nuts were considerably hotter than the ones on the right side. A trip to the dealer revealed that the left rear caliper had a sticky pin that...

Problems with power steering by Stan
I have a 2002 Civic LX with power steering. When the car is idling, I can turn it left or right with ease. When I rev up the engine, it becomes very hard to turn in either direction. It will continue to resist my turning even thought I let off the gas back to idle. I have to release the wheel...
