I'm looking for a hard top by
chazman
Hi, I'm looking to purchase a new or used hardtop for my 91 Miata. Anyone
know of a place near Dana Point in S. California that sells them or does
anyone have one for sale near the area?

reflections on the 2006 MX-5 by
the invisible man
Having spent 2 days with the 2006 MX-5 (no longer Miata) some thoughts:
It is bigger inside, especially in the area of head room. And the
steering wheel can be dropped for shorter drivers. The seat bottoms have
bolsters that make the seat feel narrower. Storage is a little worse.
There are some...

God d*mned SUVs by
Eric Baber
WARNING: This post serves no purpose other than to rant and rave.
Last night we went to our first antenatal class. Nice, small group (5
couples), all very friendly, how nice. As we all left I saw parked behind my
MX5, back-to-back so to say along the curb, one of those ludicrously huge
SUVs. I...

Newby questions! by
XS11E
What's the preferred cheapy manual for Miatas, Clymer, Haynes, ????
Can the clutch be adjusted? Mine released and engages way too high,
I'd like it to be a little closer to the floor when it engages.

Please explain wheel size differences. by
Dave Smith
There have been several threads lately about wheel sizes, but I'm a
bit in the dark as to what difference wheel diameter makes. I seem to
remember hearing that changing wheel diameter doesn't necessarily
change spedometer accuracy. If that's the case, then the tire
thickness (rim to road) must be...

A new way to spot Miata owners by
Bruno
It's amazing what you can do with Google Earth:
56°10'57.19"N, 10°11'48.55"E
Time to play "Spot the Miata"
Kind regards

Miata's Effeminate? by
Turtoni
I used to own a Miata and traded it in a year or so ago for a more practical
new vehicle but it was an awesome fun car. I was wondering if anybody else
had experienced other guys thinking that a Miata is an effeminate car? I
guess the size makes it seem girlish to them, like a motor bike would?...

2006 MX-5 by
laocmo
I've read reviews of the 2006 Miata, woops MX-5 that talk, maybe
exaggerated, of it being new from the ground up, nuts and bolts
included. My question is, has anyone read the reasons behind such a
drastic redesign? Why would the designers mess with a great car with a
reliability record that is so...

Cruise Control by
[email protected]
Good morning from Birmingham, Alabama!! Just got power back on from the
rath of IVAN.
Thinking of adding cruise control to my '97. Would prefer to go stock
versus aftermarket. Although, through the aid of this newsgroup, I have
seen the aftermarket options on miata.net.
If I go stock, can you...

New owner - misfire by
miker
Hi all,
Just bought a '96 with 45M on it. Fun car! (And that's at 10 degrees...
can't wait for summer. :)
After about 20 min of driving I get a misfire on accelleration... the car
idles fine, runs a steady speed fine, but when I push on the gas
(moderately) it "stutters" for a bit, mostly in the...

I had a high speed interface with a hole in the road a few weeks ago

refurbished. I took them to a local place, the guy gave me them back a
week later. Yesterday I took them all to my local tyre shop to have 2

Rear end noise on 1991 Miata. Differential? by
Mike Flanagan
Hey folks-
My 91 Miata (155K) is making an awful racket, seemingly from the left
rear axle. When I accelerate, it doesn't really seem too bad, but
when I let off the gas and coast, the noise comes, a "Clunk Clunk
Clunk" type. To make matters worse, it seems to diminish
substantially when I step...
