2004 Vue V6 Remote Question by Joe
Is there a way to disable the damn panic alarm on the remote? Several times I've either hit the panic button inadvertently while attempting to lock the doors or I set it off while placing the keys in my pocket. I really do not need or want this feature. Thanks in advance for your help.

2002 Saturn L300 Warning Light by lesdolak
My warning light (the one with the wrench) comes on after about two hours of driving at Interstate speeds (75-80 mph) when I stop to pay a toll. The automatic shifting is then rough when I resume. When I park for a short time the light stays off and shifting seems normal. Anyone else experiencing...

OK, I'm hoping someone out in cyberworld can help me with this problem. I recently had my transmission and clutch rebuilt on my 1998 Saturn SL2, obviously manual. It is about 2K into the news clutch and tranmission, and already, I am feeling a very heavy jolt when I try to downshift. It is pretty...

Suggested repairs by Girmann
Since my '99 SL2 has been going strong for 6 years with no major problems (2 sets of front discs, 1 set of rear drums, 2 sets of motor mounts, 4 tires) and I'm about to hit 100k this week, I took it into the dealership to get a once over to see what they thought I needed. Since I haven't had to do...

Snow tires on a Saturn??? by Dick Snyder
My daughter has a 1993 Saturn SL2. She has just moved to Cleveland from California. I'm sure this newsgroup has posted articles from time to time about the advisability of snow tires on a Saturn but I can't find any just now or anything very good with a Google search. A search of the tire...

Must remove DEPLOYED driver airbag - any help out there? by i'mnew
Hello all, We're new here - we just bought a used 2000 SL that was in an accident. We got it for very very cheap and have been doing all the work ourselves, with the help of a more knowledgable hobbyist mechanic. Anyway, the airbags both deployed in the accident. We bought new ones online and...

How to adjust idle on 96 SW1 auto trans? by Chuck Connell
Hi all, The idle speed on this car seems a bit low. When stopped at a light, in drive, the idle is about 600-650 according to the tach. It sounds like it is on the verge of stalling. I'd like to raise the idle just a bit, say to 800. Is this easy to do myself? I am handy with tools, but don't want...

This car had it's clutch replaced last summer, and in December started having "shifting problems". That was how my neice described the problem. When I tried to drive it, the problem seems to be that the clutch is now failing to release completely. I can start in neutral and get it in gear, but...
