I realize that most additives are snake oil and do nothing. However, I have heard good things about the Engine Restore stuff. Does anyone have any experience with either of these? Thanx!

Got a 1996 Monte Carlo that won't give up the ignition key. Wiggling the shifter doesn't help. What usually causes this, and will I have to replace the ignition switch? Your help is appreciated. Thanks, Dennis

I have a 93 Plymouth Grand Voyager. It back fires into the intake on accelleration, worse when the ambient temp is high. Quick test on the EEC are EGR related. eplacement of EGR did not fix the problem. I suspect the backfire is setting codes. Fuel pressues is to spec. Any ideas?

Hondra CRV - rolling noise from rear by Jim
Earlier this evening I test drove two brand new CRV's - a two wheel drive LX and a 4WD EX. Both were very quiet except for a low pitched rolling sound coming from the rear compartment. Sounded like wheel bearings, or maybe the emergency brake shoes rubbing (assuming the CRV has them). It wasn't...

1980 Mazda 626 loses power when accelerator pushed to the floor. by Ken Johnson
Is there an easy way of determining the cause? I can replace the carby for just $60AU with one from a wrecker, however, I'll be wasting my time and money if the problem is electrical. The fuel filter is new and I've just finished putting the head back after having it reconditioned (the power loss...
