I just noticed yesterday a smell like vinager or photo fixer coming from the vents when I turn on the fan. This occurs before I switch on the A/C. Any ideas?

Well the odometer failed for the 2nd time on my 92 SC. The first time I got a refurbished insturment cluster from saturn for a fairly high price. Now Saturn wants $500+ for a rebuilt cluster. All because a small plastic gear failed in the odometer. I think I have a good solution: ...

Now that the weather is warming up I might take a stab at fixing the odometer in my 94 SC2. I have the 2 new gears that should get it going again. It was clicking on and off for a couple years and then stopped completely last June. Has anyone done this before? Fred

What is the opinion if one would accidentally add 1/2 qt. of Synthetic oil to the crankcase filled with 10w30 conventional oil. Will the two mix O.K.? Can I wait till the next oil change (2000mi) to drain and refill with conventional oil. Jerry
