'06 Vue Mute Button (Onstar) - scott by marx404
Scott, sorry so long to reply. I finally got the chance to ask someone who knows the advanced features of OnStar. They say that you should be able to press the mute button on the steering wheel and speak the number after the prompt. We arent sure about "pound" but numbers should work. If this...

Question about brake noise. by Osgood Z'beard
Hi: My brakes recently started "rasping" pretty loudly. As I recall there's some sort of strip embedded in the pads that start doing this to warn you to replace them soon, so I'm wondering how much "grace" there is before the pads are completely gone. (I've been using the brakes very lightly,...

Sunroof out of timing? by [email protected]
I have a 1998 SL2 Saturn and the sunroof appears to be out of timing. By that, I mean the sunroof motor does not stop when the window comes to a complete close. It continues to motor and makes a loud clicking noise. The window will open fully, but when I use the "vent" button, it opens half way...

I just had to have the manual transmission replaced on my 1999 SC2 due to a bolt breaking inside the transmission while I was travelling and basically goreing it from the inside. They did the clutch as well since they said it was pretty worn (98K miles). Now I have to press the clutch all the way...

Anyone know how the cruise control unit senses the speed in a Saturn SL1 5 speed? Is it as simple as a magnet on the drive shaft and a prox or reed switch, etc? Joe in Northern, NJ - V#8013-R Currently Riding The "Mother Ship"

New Ion syn oil? by BE
Maybe you guys can help. My wife took her new 06 Saturn Ion 3 - 4,000 miles to a quick lube place and asked for good oil as the car was new and this was its 1st oil change. They put in QS Full syn oil (cost 2x as much) and changed the filter. Is this a problem so early in the cars life? Thanks.

96 Saturn SL by debidoes044
I have a 4 cylinder, 5 speed. Can't shift when car is running. When engine is off, shifts fine. I checked the transmission fluid, it's fine. The clutch fluid was low, about down to a 1/4 inch. I added more fluid. Still won't shift. Also, when the engine is running, and I push in the clutch, I hear...
