Adding cruise control to 2006 base PT Cruiser by Scott Koprowski
Does anyone know if you can add an oem Chrysler speed control to a base 2006 PT? My dealer said the kits aren't available for the 2006, only the 2005. Speed control is not an option for the base PT and I would like to add the factory speed control that they put on the touring and limited...

Another trnny interchange question, 93 AWD to 96 FWD Caravan by Vash The Stampede
I have a '93 Ply Gr V'ger with AWD, the tranny is the only GOOD thing in the vehicle. 3.3L engine I can get a decent '96, also with a 3.3l engine cheap, but it has a bad tranny. Is it possible to replace the tranny in the '96 with the AWD tranny from the '92 minus the rear drive shaft? Thanks!

ABS Light came on - 99 Intrepid by Greg Houston
Well today it happened to me. I had last used the car Friday night and all was well. This morning I start it up and the ABS warning light was lit. The TRAC Off light was also on for good measure as a reminder the traction control system is part of ABS. I was hoping that it was just an anomaly,...

93 GRAND CARAVAN RUNS POORLY WHEN FUEL TANK BELOW QUARTER FULL..... by [email protected]
It has the 3.0 with automatic, seems to run just fine above 1/4 full fuel tank, but sputters below that. Fuel filter was recently replaced, lots of bottles of isopropyl alcohol too. Got 28 MPG on a recent 400 mile excursion. Any ideas? Thanks.

Does anyone know of any issues with these? I have T&C base model with the 3.3. Spec says 20 gallon fuel tank but even when on empty I've never been able to get even 16 gallons in the tank. Mileage display shows 19 mpg around town. The most miles I've squeezed out of a tank (before I chickened...

Grinding sound by [email protected]
This morning on the way to work I started to hear this sound... and at first I thought it may have been a squeaking belt or something... then it progressively became worse and I believe it is on the passenger side rear of the vehicle. I recently had the front wheel bearings replaced on my 98...

DeserTBob disassembles entire engine-when problem was a thermostat by [email protected]
for a good laugh, take a look at "oldechrysler" and "oldiechrysler" orignal posts on this group, a few weeks back- it was DESERTBOB asking questions about an overheating problem on his POS ' 86 Chrysler. interchangeability of transmissions by [email protected]
Is there a handy online guide to see which transmissions go in which models? I have a buddy who is investigating using a Sprite automatic to replace a leaky seal Caravan automatic. I did not think that they matched, but he thinks they do.

Hi/lo beams by Ken Weitzel
Hi... Wonder if anyone happens to know, or if not possibly someone else with a 94 lhs would at their convenience do a little experiment for me... Rarely drive late night anymore; today I did. Low beams were acceptable, but then I got on virtually deserted highway, and used the high beams. Not...

99 T&C limited by Dan[_11_]
I test drove one and loved it but it had no owners manual and the "L" shaped series of buttons in the center of the dash kept blinking. I think they were the buttons for the rear wiper and washer etc. Whatever buttons are just to the left and below the sliding dual temperature indicators. ...

Metric Ignorance? by Richard
