An Uncanny Coincidence? by
NoName
Just recently had some repair work done on a 2000 Chrysler T&C minivan - 70K
miles
The oil pick-up tube was clogged with "debris", the shop guy hesitated to
say WHAT it was.
I have changed the oil every 3000 miles up to 50K miles and since then, I
have let it go to 4,000 miles maybe twice, and...

Antifreeze? by
Richard
My book for my PT and Town & Country lists something like a G-02 type. But
the Chrysler only sells a 3 year and 5 year without any such type ID. Just
what is the recommended product at the Chrysler dealer?
Richard.

1999 Chrysler Concorde, engine quits while driving without indication by
Jim[_53_]
1999 Chrysler Concorde, 3.5L engine quits while driving. The vehicle is well
maintained and has 133,000 miles on it. No check engine light when it fails.
Will not restart after stalling. The engine just cranks and does NOT sputter.
After it gets towed, and the first time an attempt to start the...

Montalban, Former Chrysler Pitchman, Dies At 88 by
Comments4u
Former Chrysler pitchman Ricardo Montalban, known for the phrase "reeech
Corinthian leather" when referring to the Chysler Cordoba, died Wednesday
morning at home. He was 88. Interestingly, in the early Cordoba
commercials, the phrase he used was "fine Corinthian leather".
Montalban's...

99 Chrysler 300M 3.5L - Cranks, will not start by
[email protected]
Ok, I am at a loss. Son called me from a friends house and said car
wouldn't start, was running fine when he shut it off, got ready to
leave 2 hours later and nothing.
Went over to check things out, motor turned over normally, almost
started "kinda acted like it is just not getting enough fuel"...

1997 LHS Alarm and Electrical issues... by
G.Focker
Hey all,
I just picked up a 1997 LHS on Saturday for next to nothing as it had a
Salvage Title. Cosmetically it's in mint+ condition and the
engine/tranny seem usable at 111k miles. It was salvaged by the
previous owner's Insurance because it was caught in flood waters. (the
water rose in the...

Problem Getting Deposit From Smythe Mercedes by
Gerard Gold
I made a deposit of $500 in 97/98 with Smythe Mercedes, which is the San
Jose area on Steven's Creek Boulevard. (I had thought of getting an ML, but
decided against it later.)
I started calling them around 2001/2002 about getting back my deposit, but
got no action. The fellow I dealt with, Rich...

Oil pressure warning light on '95 Voyager w/ 3.0L by
Jeff Wieland
We're 200 miles from home tonight with an erratic low oil pressure light
on our '95 Voyager, 3.0L, with 110,000 miles. The repair manual and
virtually all of my tools are 200 miles away :-(. The light goes on and
out. I do not hear any clattering or ticking like I'd expect to hear if
the oil...

Brakes squeal!!!! by
Dan
I have a '99' Intrepid. I had the rotors turned last year and they rusted
and then"peeled" a layer off. Not sure I understand why, I have never had
this happen before. Anyway, I replaced rotors on the front and installed new
"anti-squeal" ceramic pads. Well, they squeal at low speeds and when...

chip for 2005 300C Hemi? by
Ritz
A friend of mine was just given (yes, GIVEN) a new 300C Hemi. I haven't
paid much attention to Chrysler since I sold my 300M, but he's asked me
if anyone produces a "chip" for the '05 hemi.
If anyone has a lead on non-vaporware companies with performance-tuned
chips for this car/engine, I'd...

Consumer Reports rates minivans by
Art
Not surprisingly, Honda and Toyota were rated the tops in minivans though if
you really want those fold down seats, Consumer Reports gave Chrysler the
nod. The Chrysler did not do as well as Honda and Toyota on the drivetrain,
noise and ride. Interesting enuf, Chrysler continues to get closer...

I was an idiot to buy a Chrysler by
aaa
The costs I have incurred keeping this thing on the road in the 7
years of ownership are outrageous.
I have learnt a valuable lesson to always buy a foreign car.
Spend your money wisely.
