95 Camry Ignition problem hard to start by
Mark[_1_]
Car runs great but difficult to start sometimes when warm....
No codes are set..
I put a 2 channel Oscope on the IGT and coil primary. I can see that
when cranking and when the RPM is very low, that the pulses are all
there but that the IGT pulse gets very WIDE and this retards the spark
timing....

1993 lumina sedan trunk lock jammed open . by
[email protected]
I got home today and opened the trunk to get my groceries out. So far
so good. Then I noticed the key was jammed and would not turn back to
the locked position.
I removed the lock mechanism itself (2 bolts) and that works fine. It
is the key jammed in the cylinder. I am currently letting it sit...

Interesting solution to an alignment problem by
Hachiroku $B%O%A%m%/(B[_2_]
1989 Mazda 626. I replaced the lower control arm on the pass side in
December, and while it resolved the ball joint issue, the steering wheel
was cocked to the passenger's side and pulling to the right.
My computer decided to blow it's brains out last night, and I was up until
3:30AM putting the...

transporter 3 WTF? by
Nate Nagel[_2_]
yeah I know it's mindless entertainment... (on SHO right now) but
really? both the breathing the air from your tires thing, AND a car
that was completely underwater is now running again after only a little
fiddling with a basic socket set? I'm offended that anyone thinks I'm
that...

Tow Hitch Weight Rating by
\Harry Smith\
Hello all,
I am thinking of buying a boat and plan to tow it with my '94 Cadillac
Fleetwood. This is the fullsize RWD model, brother to the Chevy
Caprice. The Fleetwood was available with a factory tow package rated
for 7500 pounds. Mine didn't come with that but I am in the process of
upgrading...

Electric Vehicles by
PolicySpy[_3_]
The news is that production capacity for lithium ion batteries is
coming on-line. And these plants are partially funded by recent
Federal grants. Of course these are batteries for electric vehicles
and hybrids. What's the problem ?
Well, there's an electric vehicle benchmark and it's the...

Suburban no 4wd 4x4 fixed by

Was helping my brother in law with his newly acquired 95 GMC suburban
4x4. No 4wd lights on the floor shift, no front axle engagement.
was blowing the 4wd fuse.
Did some research on the interest and found these units have some
thermally engaged front actuator on the front drive axle that...

Changing/Flushing antifreeze Lebaron, ''95, 3.0L V6. by

Well, I can't believe it but I've forgotten how to change the
anti-freeze. This must be the start of Oldtimers Disease.
It was warm in Baltimore yesterday, and a good day to flush the
cooling system. Lebaron, ''95, 3.0L V6.
I ran the engine until it was hot or at least warm.
The petcock...

What size inner tube will produce rubber bands with 8" diameter? by
Prof Wonmug
Can anyone tell me the formula for calculating the inside diameter of
the air chamber in an inner tube when inflated to just full (not
over-inflated as they do for river tubing).
We recently replaced our asphalt driveway with pavers. It looks great,
but the trash bins now make an unholy racket...

The post looks pretty short (set back into the unit), but I would love

also.
WalMart has 50-50 mixed Prestone anti freeze, but
