3.3 interchange by Fly-by-night
I recently purchased a 93 T&C for work shortly thereafter both rear springs snapped. since I load it I put on a set of H-D springs that really gave the van a rake. Within two days I had a windowed block and a seized crank. Could the rake have exposed the oil pick up? Also what years car/truck 3.3...

Chrysler saving Fiat? Odd, but true by rob
November 14, 2011 - 12:01 am ET TURIN, Italy -- If someone had told me that Chrysler would rescue Fiat within two years of their tie-up, I would have said, "Smettila di bere prima di pranzo" -- stop drinking before lunchtime. What has happened since 2009, when Fiat took control of Chrysler?...

Intake maifold leak problem by Peter Kemp
96 T&C, 3.3 engine I had to replace the front cylinder head last weekend. Got everything buttoned down and connected and the thing started up and sounds great. Only problem is the engine is idling at around 1300 rpm. Discovered that there is a leak at the intake manifold edges and also at the...

The new 2008 Avenger by Just Facts
I've been looking at this new Chrysler car here- http://www.allpar.com/cars/dodge/avenger.html It looks very nice, I like it's styling better than the new Sebring. Is it as I suspect the same as the new Sebring under slightly revised skin?

FS 1986 Dodge Aries SE wagon by markansas859
this car is probably as close a survivor that I know of. I bought it from the original owner 2 months ago. the original Goodyear Vector full size spare tire is in the back, never been used. The owners manual, warranty manual, window sticker and broadcast sheet is in the glove box.

Jeep Wagoneer Limited Transmission issue by [email protected]
Here's the situation. I bought a 1990 Jeep Wagoneer Limited a short while ago. I was in pretty good shape minus a known issue with the automatic transmission. It will not usually automatically down shift into first gear when starting or coming to a stop, but you can manually shift into the...

2002 Concorde electric seat stuck by wr2002
The driver's side electric seat is stuck and makes a grinding noise when I try to adjust it. It is stuck with the front part (under my knee area) up and does not let my legs reach the pedals well. I can adjust the seat back to sit up or recline and the whole seat will move forward and back. I...

300M A/C overhaul by Percival P. Cassidy
It's about 6 months since our '02 300M's A/C quit with a hissing sound and a sweet smell in the cabin. I bought a replacement evaporator, heater core and receiver/drier a while back but haven't yet installed them. I've been reading the service manual and have questions: 1. A lot has to be...

LeBaron Idle hesitation by nirodac
1980 LeBaron, 318 auto, lean burn removed by previous owner. At idle the engine seems to miss a beat every few seconds. Timing is set to 5 BTC, per sticker. Port on carb that was for OSAC, seems to have no vacuum, at any RPM, so I attached the vacuum advance on the dist to a spare port at...

2008 Caravan Cruise Control by bruce
I just bought a 2008 Grand Caravan SE Value. I didn't necessarily want to pay the dealer the $500 they said it costs to install Cruise Control, because I'm pretty sure it's a rather simple install since it probably has all the sensors and wiring in place already. I have some questions, hopefully...

1996 Dodge Grand Caravan won't start or barely runs by [email protected]
My 1996 Grand Caravan (3.3L) stalled last week at a light. It does that often, but this time it was difficult to get it restarted. It finally started and off I went. About a mile later, it stalled again, this time it wouldn't restart. I left the van and came back to it periodically to try to get it...

Crossfire discounts by Steverino
I've seen dealers ads recently offering 10K reduction off the MSRP of the Crossfire. Has this car not sold well? It's not because it has a bad rep, is it? Or did it not find its audience? At 25K it would seem like a relative bargain- or is it? I never felt confident plunking my money down on a...

Oil Gelation (Sludge) How Do You Get Rid of It? by Richard
Just picked up a 98 RAV4 4WD 4door and the first thing I did was get the oil and filter changed (Mobil 1 5W-30). After a few hundred miles the oil looked dark (a good sign), but I ran my finger into the oil fill and there was still some oil Gel. How does Toyota recommend one get rid of it? Richard.
