2004 VUE, V6, AWD - Shimmy In Front End When Braking and Speed Reachs 25 to 30 mph. by A.E.
Has anyone had a problem when braking and the vehicle slows down to 25-30 mph? Our '04 VUE has a distinct shimmy when braking? Would this be covered by the warranty? We purchased the vehicle in Jan'05 and have about 8,000 miles on it. Any help would be appreciated? -A.E.

95 Saturn overheat question by Shawn
I let my Saturns temp guage go up to three quarters to see if the fan would cut in. It took a while, but it did. I shut off the car before it was finished cooling down. When I got out, there was coolant all over the ground. I opened the hood, it it looks like it came from up around the...

Hi, I have a 1996 Saturn SC2, 100K miles. I need to replace two of my bulbs in the spoiler brake light. When I purchase the bulbs, do they come in those plastic holders, or do the bulbs pop out of the holders, and the bulbs sold seperatly? Also, how many oxygen sensors does my car have? I see...

98 SL2 Auto Trans Shifting Problems by jake292
Whenever I take off from a stop, my car seems to hesitate shifting into the next gear (i.e. it takes a lot more RPMs make the car shift than it used to). It also will hesitate to down shift, whether passing or just coasting down. It will wait so long that when it finally does shift down, it slams...

P0304 from OBD II for 96 SL2, 85k mileage by Simon
The SES was on and off one day ago, nothing special on the car. I pulled it to Autozone to read the code out, it was P0304. One misfire was detected. Two years back, I had same issue and had probably three out of four EGR valves replaced in a shop. And also rewire the spark to 0.04. Last time,...

Automatic transmission by Dakota Mon
What is the difference between the gears you can put a car in? For example you have 2, 3, 4 but what are they and when/why should you use each one? Yes it is a serious Q. Unusual I know for an adult but I speant hardly any time around cars growing up so what seems obvious maybe to some is not to...

New '06 models by marx404
We just got in a "secret" stash of 2006 ION and VUEs. First of all, I am already impressed with the changes in the ION: Optonal 2.4L engine has performance suspension and sportier sounding exhaust. Engine has built-in oil cooler module. ION & VUE: New radio! Center large selector dial with tabbed...

1995 SL1 auto transmission by Patrick Melberg
Just recently in hot weather and stop-and-go traffic my '95s transmission with 137,000 miles started to skip 3rd gear. It would rev high in second and then finally shift into fourth like nothing was the matter. I stopped for a while (to cool it off) and then it shifted properly. Soon after I...

Dome light '01 Lw300 by Oppie
The rear (cargo area) dome lamp in our lw300 went out lately. Lamps (3) seem to be all OK but won't come on regardless of the position of the switch. Front dome lamp works properly. Before I make myself crazy toting out the electrical drawings, anybody seen this before? Since all the lamps are on...
