Problem with rear door lock by
[email protected]
I have a 95 SL1 and one of the rear doors cannot
be opened from the inside, but works fine opening
the outside handle/lock. Anyone familiar with
what might be wrong? Are there 2 seperate cables
in the locking mechanism? Might something just
need greasing or is it gone? I would like to...

98 SL2 shakes when accelerating....? by
APRead
My 98 Saturn SL2 (74K miles) has recently started to slightly shake/jitter
when I accelerate (usually only until 3500 RPMs). It's sort of hard to
explain, but I would best describe the feeling as similiar to what it
would feel like if the tires were slipping occassionally (although that...

Burnt valve - what to do by
[email protected]
I have a 2002 SL1 that has had regular maintenance since I bought it
used in 2004. Recently I went about 1500 miles over the 3000 limit
between "checkups" and brought it in. No oil changes etc. since the
last inspection. It had started "hesitating" a bit during
acceleration so they checked that....

Saturn - No different by
Arkal
I have had some bad experiences with a brand smacking new 2004 Saturn
ION 2 that I thought I should share with everyone. I thought I bought
an inexpensive car, but I think I have bought a CHEAP car. The dealer
is Budd's Saturn of Mississauga (Ontario). Don't even go there. They
are terrible.

Problems with my Saturn Vue by
Arnold Howard
I love my 2004 Saturn Vue. It is my third Saturn. My first Saturn was a
1990, one of the first made. I was probably the first Saturn owner in
Mesquite, Texas.
But I've had many problems with my Vue:
1) The suspension recall
2) The wheel bearings failed and had to be replaced under warranty
3) The...

Looking for some color (white) keyed mudflaps for a L300. Anyone have any
suggestions on the best place to look? Dealer has only expensive gray
mudflaps.

Saturn LW300 cargo area liner by
Art
Anyone find a cheaper cargo area liner for a Saturn L300 wagon. Factory
version is $90. Thanks. Seems high since the one I bought for a 300M trunk
was about half that at my Chrysler dealer and a perfect fit.

GM has a small problem by
Art
Apparently they are closing one of their most efficient plants in Linden
(spelling?), NJ but the workers will be paid into 2007. Meanwhile they lose
2 grand for every car they sell while the Asian imports make over a grand on
every car they sell. According to the report I heard on the news...

loud L300 wagon engine fan by
Art
In hot weather the engine compartment fan used either for the radiator
cooling or ac system is very loud from outside the car with the hood down.
It is a 2004 with only 3000 miles on it. My dad's car and he is hard of
hearing so he doesn't even realize it. I noticed it last summer and again
now...

98 SLS Saturn-chattering door locks by
art
When the ignition key is turned on prior to the engine starting, the
door lock start locking & unlocking continously until you press the
drivers doorlock or they stop by themselves. I have replaced the door
lock & unlock relay with no results. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks

L300 6 cylinder wagon by
Art
Parents just bought one. I'm surprised by how much pressure the accelerator
pedal takes to get the car moving from a stop compared to other cars I've
driven. Wondering if this is typical or should the dealer check it.

2004 Saturn L300 wagon by
Art
Is the power steering adjustable at all on this model. I've checked the
tire pressure and may replace the junk Firestone tires but I was wondering
if it might be possible to increase low speed assist. Car handles like a
truck at low and moderate speeds.

L300 wagon rumble by
Art
My father bought a new L300 wagon with the V6 a few months ago. Nice car
but the only thing I find obnoxious about it is the engine rumble when
idling. Changing to neutral doesn't affect it. Turning off the ac doesn't
change it either. It is a very loud low pitch hum thru out the car at...

L300 accident by

A friend had a pretty bad accident with a 2004 L300 wagon. Basically lost
control and squeezed the front between 2 other cars. So bascially headlights
and fenders on both sides done it, along with hood, bumper and some damage
to the front under carriage.... a suspension cradle and some of the...

Help, I need advice on replacing front fenders 02 SC2 by
Ash
Dammit, Saturday I slid in the snow and hit a telephone pole.
Wrinkled the DS fender, just barely missing the headlights. Tuesday,
an old lady tried to test the laws of physics and have two objects
with mass occupy the same space at the same time (changed lanes and
bumped the PS front fender just...
