Before I head to the dealer...... by
Tom from WI[_2_]
I have a 2007 Ford Explorer XLT 4WD. I noticed that my radiator overflow
container was empty. I filled it up about an inch below the "Hot Level". I
drove 70 miles in 100 degree weather, so I thought I would check it again
when it was hot. The overflow container was empty again, even though the...

Mach Radio Connector Pin Out by
sparky01
Anyone have a schematic or where to obtain one for the Mach radio in
1998-2000 Ford Radio? I seem to have lost power to the Rt. side speakers .
The wiring is good( have checked it with a borrowed radio and system works.
I need to track back through the radio, without "pick and poke" on a...

oil pressure gauge question by
[email protected]
I just bought a 98 Explorer Sport. The oil pressure gauge reads exactly
dead center all the time the engine is running, whether at 600RPM or
4000RPM. Is this normal? This is my first Ford and I every other car
I've owned showed some fluctuation in oil pressure with varying engine
speed.
Thanks in...

Moon roof by
Don Phillipson
Is there a known problem with Ford moon roofs?
These have separate switches for two open settings
1 = Tilted up 5 degrees at the rear, to open a fresh
air slot 2 cm. high and full width.
2 = Slid wholly back about 12 inches.
After 5 years occasional use in our Focus wagon,
closing from #1 does not...

'02 Explorer Fuel Gauge Problem by
James Drouin
Group,
My '02 Explorer XLT w/ 32k miles on it has recently started to occasionally
show an empty fuel tank and Check Gauge light, when the tank has plenty of
fuel.
The problem is intermittent, although it only started a couple of days ago
(so not a lot of background history).
Does anyone know if...

Window fails to open - sometimes by
R. F. Duffer
2004 Explorer:
The rear driver's side window does not open with either the driver's
push-button or the rear door's push-button. This problem started last
summer. However, during the winter (Chicago suburb), the window would
once again open/close. I had no problems with the window until...

sophie
Greetings.
About the charcoal, it should be interesting to detail the customizing of the
coat using up-to-date methodologies as well as the concept of the line
differently

'05 Explorer Trailer Brake Connection by
Richard Minami
Hi! I recently replaced my '94 Explorer with an '05. Lots of things I read
say that I can get a Ford wiring harness for my Tekonsha Prodigy and just
plug it right in. I tried it this evening, and I can't find where the
wiring harness plugs into the Explorer. Could anyone enlighten me? ...

2007 Explorer XLT Tire Sensors by
Tom from WI[_2_]
On our last trip, the tire pressure warning light came on. I stopped and
took the pressure in each tire and it was above the recommended pressure
(tires were warm from freeway driving). After I got back on the freeway, the
warning light went out. Periodically it would come back on, then go off...

Auto-Locks Not by
The Ranger[_4_]
I have a 1996 XLT V-8 Explorer with 198K. We are now seeing things fail
enmasse but just can't find it in ourselves to give up this workhorse of a
vehicle. Just recently, the automatic locks are no longer working. It
started with the driver's door where the locking mechanism would pull down;
it...

Ford Explorer servicing cd/dvd ?? by
[email protected]
I am an Explorer newbie, and need to start working on my '98 XLT. Can't
afford $105/hr just to diagnose, more to work on the car, as my local
dealers are telling me. I have low to average mechanical skills, but
don't take on anything major at all.
I have heard about a Ford Explorer servicing...

I have a 2002 Ford Explorer. The internal temperature system has been
fluctuating for the past few weeks. I normally set the internal

temperature during the car trip. Recently, the system will change from 72
