Hello, is it true that once the EGR Solenoid is replaced in 2004 Dodge Grand Caravan 3.3L the solenoid needs to be programmed? This is what I was told at the parts desk at dealer and does not make sense to me, any ideas?

More A/C-electric Qs by Proctologically Violated©®
Awl-- Tryna get my friend's A/C going on a 1991 Toyota "suburban" wagon. Like a corolla wagon? Think it's electrical, and would like to explore that first. The A/C stopped working after getting mildly rear ended. Would like to check fuses first, if that makes sense. Looked at the fuse panel...

Evaluating a Used Car - DipStick (Oil) Reading by HKEK
I'm looking at a 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan 3.3L with 57,000 miles. I pulled the dipstick and the oil looked dark and smelled a bit cooked. The vehicle had been taken in trade at a dealer. The salesman showed me the shop work that had been performed on this vehicle to ready it for resale. Among...

Hello. Just inherited a 95 Wrangler. The passenger side door doesn't open or lock from the inside, but it does lock with a key from the outside. I think there is a cable that pulls on the lock. I'm been searching the internet for 4 hours looking for replacement parts, but I apparently don't...

BMW Clutch Issue by Scott Dorsey
1986 BMW 535i. I bought it a few years ago with a bad transmission and only 120k miles, and a friend of mine dropped an '83 junkyard transmission into it and a new clutch. It's been running well, and I have slowly been cleaning various things on it up. Starting around 220,000 miles, the clutch...

Sorry, this is kind of an emergency and I didn't understand how to create a thread on the Saturn forum. My "Check Engine Soon" light came and I found out the problem was my gas cap wasn't fastened. I either need to reset the battery manually, or find the fuse box thing (I'm not really a car...

12 volt car heater/defroster that works? by psongman
HI, I thought I would ask the knowing if there is a decent 12 volt heater/defroster that I can get for my Escort. The heater core went and they did the bypass thing as I couldn't afford the heater core replacement, whew, like $700. So, I have been checking into this alternative but most reviewers...

Who profits from high gas prices? by *
One Maine gas station has closed down its gas pumps, and gone to service bay work only. The reason? Banks were making more-per-gallon in credit/debit card fees than the station was. Citing the three percent credit/debit card fees, the owner pointed out that the banks were making...
