Ion Redline Questions by Bob
Hi, I just bought an Ion Quad Coupe Redline. I have a few questions that I couldn't get answered by the dealer... The docs that came with the car are Ion and have no mention of the Redline. That's no big deal, but I was told by the dealer that the oil changes MUST use Mobil 1 and that the oil...

steering rack adjustment by Jack Woltz
The chilton book shows & describes an adjustment for the power steering rack. Has anyone tried this? If so, what size is the locknut? Mine appears to be stuck, and it is not avaialble from the dealer (so they say). Did adjusting the rack make any differences to feel / noise level? thanks

Saturn vs Honda Civic Drag Race on TV by wavy
OK - Its petty clear shy rear-wheel drive cars have wheelie bars. But to me, wheelie bars trailing behind a front wheel drive car just looks too stupid! Comments? I just dont get it! -WaVy

back from the dead: 97 SL1 by David Teichholtz
Last week my daughter took a left hand turn and got hit on the right side of the car, right on the pillar between the two doors. Both skins shattered, both steel door frames were bent, and the pillar was slightly pushed in. I happened to know that there was a car of the same color in my local...

Shudders at stop light: Clean throttle body? by Richard
98 Saturn SL 114K miles When I stop at a light, within about 30 seconds, sometimes sooner, sometimes longer, the car will shudder like it is going to stall and the rpms drop from the normal 800 (idle) to about 700. It bounces right back and doesn't happen again. Sometimes when it bounces back I...

Saturn L300 transmission problem by [email protected]
My L300 makes a severe clunking noise when driven or even when pushed in neutral. Trany fluid all over bottom of car. Is there any chance of a GM extended warranty for trany problems? Could this be a drive shaft problem, not a trany problem?
