Opinions on 2007 Accord SE V6? by
Rich Weed
I just got an e-mail quote from one local dealer of $21,170 which is
basically invoice in New York State (Edmunds invoice does not include the
additional amount of $130-$140 for NYS partial-zero emissions).
I think this is a great price. What do you think?
I see the SE V6 has Brake...

Install Nav in Honda Odyssey EX? by
[email protected]
Hi,
I just purchased a used 1999 Honday Odyssey EX. The van does not have
the optional GPS Navigation system from Honda.
I want to know if it is possible to install a GPS Nav system
after-the-fact. I recognize that this would change the layout of the
dash, so I'm not even sure if it's possible....

91 Honda Civic Hatchback by
[email protected]
Hi!
I just bought a '91 Honda Civic hatchback which was cared for very
well. All of a sudden the steering wheel began to shake like crazy! It
seems to happen most around 25- 45 mph. It doesn't happen when I break,
just while driving. It is slightly pulling to the right as well. Can
anyone tell me...

92 Honda Accord Check Engine Light by
Lilroskie07
So one night I was driving my car and as I came up to a stop light my
car died. It took a couple times to get it started. Then it was fine.
Then a couple days later I was driving my car then all of a sudden my
check engine light comes on and the car just dies. That day it started
right back up....

Aftermarket Ignition Coil? by
[email protected]
Any thoughts on replacement ignition coils (non-honda)?
Salesman here says that there's not much of a difference, because it's
"just a coil" of wire. Any truth to this?
TIA

Dry Cylinders--Honda Civic by
Corpus Christi
I have a 98 Honda Civic with ~ 140K miles. This year, the oil has drained from
the cylinders three times, leading to the car not starting. I've taken it to a
local mechanic who discovered the dry cylinders by removing the spark plugs. He
poured transmission fluid into the cylinders to get the...

2000 Accord Trans Fluid Leak by
[email protected]
I have a 2000 Accord V-6, and have loved the car since buying it used a
few years ago with 36k miles on it. It now has 134k, and still runs
great. But now it's leaking transmission fluid, and my trusted mechanic
can't find the source of the leak. He's torn the trans out of the car,
checked the...

Shuddering when taking off by
[email protected]
I've had this frustrating problem with my 95 Civic (SOHC 1.6L PGM-FI
non-vtec D16 variant, manual). It sometimes shakes/shudders when taking
off from a full stop. I could prevent the shuddering by stepping on the
gas more. I've replaced plugs, wires, rotor, PCV, timing belt, fuel
filter (all Honda...

High-pitched noise when NOT braking by
[email protected]
Hello all.
I have a high pitched noise coming from my right rear of my 2001 Honda
Accord V6. The noise is medium intensity and sounds like a squeal, kind
of like the sound your CD player makes when it is skipping. It is a
very shrill noise. I have disc brakes in the back by the way. This
noise...

your opinions? by
[email protected]
Hi everyone. It's been a while. Nothing to report. Not a whimper from
my '92 Civic with 149k. Recent Castrol GTX and a can of SeaFoam for
good luck. Putting miles on my 2-wheeler! ;-D
So my folks call me and tell me that on Dad's '98 Buick Century (45k)
the dealership is recommending a power...

fan problem by

Well the fan in my 91 Accord for the ventilation (heater, AC) stopped
working (it been a little noisy lately, now its just dead). Is it expensive

noticed that the 2 big radiator fans between the engine block and the...

ECU and Timing Question by
sharx333
I've just adjusted the timing on my 95 Civic (SOHC 1.6L PGM-FI). I
warmed it up to operating temp, jumped the 2P connector and checked the
timing at 750 RPM. Then I made the necessary adjustment.
I've had no problems with setting the timing, but I noticed something.
I had supposed that the jumper...
