Maaco Paint by William Rose
I have a 1998 white Chevrolet S-10, and recently took my car to Maaco to get bodywork done. A few spots have to be repainted. Maaco told me that it would be cheaper for them to repaint my whole car then to just paint the bodywork. They said it would cost them more time and money to match up the...

What car did I see? by JB
I was just in a mall parking lot and I saw a car which drew my attention. There was nothing really special about the way that it looked - a newish looking compact, non-descript styling, roof-line kind of rounded. What drew my attention was the name, which I can't remember - but the symbol on both...

What car did I see? by JB
The car I saw was not a Toyota Echo - though not a car fanatic, I know what both the Echo and the Toyota symbol look like. I want to say that it was a "Tuscan", but in doing a search on the net, all I come up with is a model from TVR that looks like a race car - nothing like what I saw.

I have a car fitted with the Bosch LE3-Jetronic system. Between injector 2 and 3 on the fuel rail, there is a gadget that looks like a vacuum advance device, as found on top of the distributors of certain carb'ed engines. What is this device for? What does it do? I don't think that it actually...

FA: "The Ford that beat Ferrari" - Ford GT40 book by Andy Turner
I'm selling this book on behalf of my father, who abandoned his Ford GT40 project a while back. The book is apparently *the* bible for GT40 enthusiasts yet is out of print and the originals were lost in a fire - hence the premium. It's referenced...

Auto Leasing or Rental? by SMZ
There is probably a fine line between auto leasing and rental. There must be a company in the business that fills this need. I have a used car I bought a year ago that did not hold up to the time I needed. I probably have about 6-8 months to remain in the United States before I am an ex-pat...

Covering Grill in front of Radiator when Very Cold. by Denny B
I live in a city that can be bitterly cold in Winter in Alberta. I see a small number of passenger vehicles and quite a few trucks that cover their front grills with a type of cloth when the weather is very cold, minus -15 to minus-35 degrees in winter. Obviously this must be to prevent the cold...
