ODB-II location in 2006 CR-V? by
Tim Smith
This looks pretty useful:
<http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/electronic/8426/>
Does anyone happen to know offhand where the OBD-II connector is in a 2006
CR-V? LX model, if that matters.

Sad day by
Butternut Squash
just sold my 87 honda accord 3 door with 216K miles on it for $200.
replaced it with a new toyota yaris. The accord was nicer, should have
fixed it up and kept it. Best engine I've ever had in a car. 2.O EFI.
Thanks for the memories.

Ping: Elle, Michael, Teggar... by
Grumpy AuContraire
On my "antique" '83 Honda Civic 1300 FE, I can find no reference on
changing the timing belt other than an "inspection" at 60K (miles). I
have the factory manual and owner's manual.
The current belt is new but would I be correct to assume that 60K is a
good time to change it out?
BTW, I'm still...

is BFgoodrich T/A T tires heavy for accord? by
ap
Hello,
I saw good ratings on this bf goodrich T/A T in tirerack.com.
When I called up a tire store, they questioned why I wanted
a tire that would be too heavy for my particular car.
This car is a Honda Accord LX 2001 (196/65/15).
What do folks in the forum think?

Why the Noises Disappear after the Warm-up (norm temp)? by
[email protected]
89 Civic automatic with 220,000 miles on it. I usually drive this
car before the
warmed engine. I don't like to sit there and wait for the engine to get
warm.
I don't mean I don't idle at all. I do idle about 3 or 4 mins.
I have some noises issue under driving with not-warmed engine such
squeak...

Mystery Nut--Anyone Identify? by
Elle
Can anyone please identify the nut pictured at the following
site?
http://home.earthlink.net/~honda.lioness/id16.html
It's head is 12 mm across. It has some sort of locking
mechanism. It sheared off its stud, presumably due to age
and the vibrations that resulted while I was grinding off
the...

AC seems dead by
Ju
Hi all
I own a UK '97 Prelude 2.2 VTi which seems to have a fault with the AC.
The green light illuminates but there is no nice cold air or a dip in the
revs. Is there anything that I can check or is it a visit to a AC
technican?
I've just purchased the car and was told the AC has a re-gas 2...

Brake Fluid Gunk. by
2002civicdx
Yesterday, I completed my second (solo) brake system flush. No bubbles,
solid pedal, and a sense of satisfaction.
I noticed the dark residue in the master cylinder reservoir (that still
remains). Three questions.
1) Where does this come from?
2) Short of pulling and cleaning the master cylinder,...

Hi again all. Wonder if someone could point me in the right direction here.
My former brother in law had this neon tape kit he bought. I don't know what
it is officially called but it sticks on like auto pinstriping and hooks
into the electrical system. When activated, it lights up, like...

Currently I own a 1991 Accord Wagon (Aerodeck in Eu) 2.2i EX. Very good car,

Anything special I should look for when I go over to inspect this car?

Scott Davis
Hi, Folks.
I've got a 97 Civic LX, 4 Dr, Stick/Air/ABS, in Toronto, ON, Canada.
It's got 160KKms on it. (about 100,00 miles)
I'd like to hear your opinions - about keep it for a couple more years
and maintain it vs. trade it in.. (probbably for an accord)..
I purchased it new, in 97, because I...

Approximate mpg for 2000 Accord 2.0 by
[email protected]
Hi there,
I'm thinking of getting a 2.0 Accord (old shape) for a long commute
which is constant cruising at 60-80. What kind of mpg would I get? The
reliability is paramount and I have a local garage that will service
cheaply. Also what's the wind noise like at 80? I know I should get a
diesel but...

93 Honda Accord with problems by

I have a '93 Accord 10th Anniversary Ed. Automatic. I've owed the car
for about 6 months and I have a couple of different problems that I
hope someone can help with.
1) The engine has a rough idle when warm (500-750 rpms). When I shift
out of gear and into Neutral or Park it smooths out quite a...

Aluminum Wings by
[email protected]
You know those aftermarket aluminum wing things bolted to the rear deck
of (usually around here anyway) old Hondas? Do they actually serve any
function other than to uglify the car? In the olden days cars were rear
wheel drive and wings helped to push down on the back for more
traction- at least...
