What is the correct alternator for a 1981 Ford Fairmont

No large audio amp or anything like that. Nothing

Listed is a 60 amp and a 100 amp alternator.
Hypothetically say my vehicle requires the 60amp alternator,

Used car lot might not have paid the sales tax. Please advise. by
Chuck
I bought a car in Pennsylvania about 6 years ago. The lot had a
pretty bad reputation, but I shopped there anyway. I bought a '93
Ford Escort Wagon that has not given me very many problems.
The day after I bought my car, I noticed a man picketing the
dealership. According to his sign, the...

getting spare tire off of a Plymouth Voyager...? Help! by
fear
I'm trying to change a friend's tire on a Plymouth Voyager. The spare
is underneath the vehicle in back. There seems to be a bolt of some
sort holding it in, with not much of a 'lip' to be able to grab on and
turn it with. I've been doing this for at least half an hour
collectively, and it has come...

Ran accross this on Ebay. What a shame, only 353 miles. I guess
driving lessons aren't included with the purchase of an exotic
supercar.

MB Fortwo and A Class by
aniram
MB is going to introduce "Fortwo" smart car to Canada. I wonder how
well this small car will be accepted there. Will it physically be
smaller than Chev Aveo, Toyota Echo Hatch Back, Suzuki Swift or Geo
Metro?
Looking at the "ugly" model (although I am sure lots of others can say
that it is cute -...

Perplexing Engine trouble: '96 Jeep Cherokee by
Quiet Voice
Greetings:
I have encountered a perplexing series of problems with my jeep.
Briefly....
After having the head gasket replaced, I noticed a lack of warm air
coming out of the heater. It wasn't as fridged as the outside air so
"some" heating was taking place, but it was barely lukewarm....

Do All Alternators Operate Similar ? by
Denny B
My car alternator charges more at faster speeds
and higher rpm. Are all alternators similar in this
regard or are there alternators available that operate
just as well at low speed and low rpm.
You can run your battery flat if you are stuck in
a three or four hour traffic jam at night with...

How to buy a new or used SATURN by
misterfact
My suggestion when buying a Saturn:
Tell the dealer that you want a LIFETIME GUARANTEE against any defect
that may cost you over $500 (or whatever cost figure you are willing
to absorb). If the dealer says "NO"- then that ought to tell you
something about Saturns!
If they tell you that you can...
