Toyota Matrix, Yaris hatchback - is there some kind of aftermarket cargo conceal cover available? The kind of plastic panel that would mount above the cargo compartment so that a curious eye can't see what's in there? TIA, Bubba

78 Firedbird Statrer..Excessive Amperage. by josuha1954
I have a 1978 Firedbird...350..4 bbl..auto. The starter will not turn over the engine and 'clicks'. I checked the battery cable connections, connections on the starter etc. The battery is new and still does it even when a jump from another vehicle is applied.

Windstar fogging windows by golden oldie
I tokk my Windstar to have the fogging window problem checked. Turns out the cabin air filter was very dirty and needed changing. Not something I even considered. When I was still working, 15 years, lowly Fords didn't have such "accessories". Amazing how much more air the heater produces now...

Trying to isolate engine/transmission noise by [email protected]
Hey all, I'm hoping someone can assist me with a recent problem. I have a 2004 Scion xB 5-spd manual with 150k miles on it. Recently I have noticed a whine when driving. Usually the whine manifests itself when I'm traveling above 60mph. I initially thought it could be a wheel bearing or...

Noises while driving but stops when breaking by [email protected]
I have a 95 Mercury Villager that just recently started making a weird noise that is higher pitched and seems like it's coming from the wheel well. It stops making the noise, however, when I break. I would almost describe the noise as sounding like chains jingling, kind of. Sorry, it's the best...

Drive By Wire by phaeton
As I understand it, "Drive By Wire" means that there is a throttle position sensor which is read by an ECU or other electronic device which then changes the position(s) of throttle plate(s) in accordance without any mechanical link whatsoever between the gas pedal and the metering device. This is...
